Rams lost to the Panthers and Falcons in the reg season, 2 teams we beat. We can beat them.
Hawks lost to TB, a team we beat.
Can't say what will happen based on other games, but we can beat either of those teams.
Stafford is great, but he's had a lot of shaky moments.
Darnold is Darnold, could implode at any given moment.
The Rams back 7 sucks outside of Kam Kinchens. Seattle's defense poses more of a challenge, but they've risen to the occasion twice already. Neither team scares me a whole lot offensively. Rams took 5 quarters to put up 20 on that sorry-ass Bears defense.

Sub-zero windchills on Sunday in Denver. Mid to low 20's.

Rams had the best total offense in the league.
Most yards, most points 30.5 pts/game.
Top passing attack.
7th rushing.
You may not trust in their 3 TE set, but they move the ball and score points.
Yes they struggled in the cold in Chi, and yes Stafford hasn't looked great, but they are still a very good offense.
Seattle doesn't scare me offensively, LA sure does.

A good bit of that
Came when that set was still new
Now, the tape is out.

It’s not the Denver team I’m worried about. It’s the environment. I still remember the amount of ******** this team endured in the championship game against Manning. Even our electronics were malfunctioning.

I also hope we don’t try and get cute and go for it on every damn 4th down, especially if our secondary or offense commit penalties that stalls the successful completion of a 3rd and long.

Has been top notch all year long
I am not concerned.

Denver had 68 sacks, most in the league, 11 more than #2 and 21 more than Houston.
They were #7 vs the pass.

You quoted their offensive numbers.

They get the most sacks and allow the fewest.
Thanks for the correction. Yes so that makes their defense even scarier. No wonder they won 14 games.

They aren’t scary, they are opportunistic.
27 of the 68 were in 4 games so they averaged only a hair over 3 the rest of the games. In 7 of their games they only had 16 total sacks.

In those 7, aside from the Jake Browning game they allowed 24.5 ppg.

If you take away Browning, the Jets, Chris Oladokun, Trey Lance and Cam Wards first game their pass D gots from 187 to 239 per game and points allowed go from 18.3 to 22.4

They also were 26th in the NFL with only 14 takeaways.

They may get a few sacks but our offense will be better than their defense.

Seems like half the posts in this thread contain the words “scared”, “scary”, “worry”, “afraid”. Hope the coaching staff is more focused on what we are going to do to Denver rather than obsess about all the negative things that can happen. We need to be the big dog in this game.

Seattle doesn't need to scare anyone offensively because their special teams is going to give them amazing field position.

That be fun... But i think everyone knows it will be Seattle. They are the best team this year. Just how it is. Offense, defense, special teams. They are well coached, balanced and don't tend to make mistakes and tend to force them. I am admitting it, they are better than our Pats. But the best team doesn't always win and it matters how much you are the best by.

The Pats have made a strong case IMO to be the clear #2 team ever since the Rams have started coming down to earth. And our D is healthy right now and playing the best ball they have all year. Add in Stevenson playing like a man possessed and that gap to me seems absolutely tiny at the moment, where a 6 weeks ago even if i thought we were #2 there would have been a substantial gap. This Pats team is peaking at the right time.

Futures have the Pats as +3 vs the Rams. I highly disagree health being equal right now. Right now I would argue the exact opposite. Pats -3... maybe -3.5. I think they are legit that much better right now.

As for the Seahawks they are minus -3.5 to -4.5 vs the Pats... which is crazy as that is almost exactly the same as the Rams. Who is clearly playing down and the Seahawks who are playing great ball all around.

The fact that the Seahawks are -2.5 to -3 on the Rams WITH HFA is an absolute joke. And I am tired of pretending it's not. That is -6.5 all day IMO.

As for Pats vs Seahawks on a neutral site... virtually a pick em. I'd give the Seahawks -1 to -1.5.... only cause i think a pick em is just not true. But that is basically nothing. So while i think the Seahawks are the better team. That is how close I believe it to be. Little worse than a coin flip.

Best QB method to pick this Sunday's winners.

Maye and Stafford.

Darnald has 14 INTs and 11 fumbles.

Lets hope they dont try any fake punts like ones against baltimore

I would have preferred for Pats to get beat in CG rather than lose in the SB... if we lost to the Bills or Jags or someone, giving us a good year with understandable room to grow. But now, it'd take a colossal disaster to lose with Stiddy which would be much worse.

But IF we do win, I am quite sure we'll loose in the SB to either Rams or Hawks. And that will stink.
Because the AFC was not very good this year, and either of those NFC teams seem like a cut above... they are not the historic chokers like Chargers & Texans.
We can beat anybody. They’re aren’t any Dynasty Pats’, SB Chiefs or 2024-24 Eagles-type teams this year. Seattle & LAR are very beatable; especially in a neutral site. There certainly isn’t anything scary about the Rams’ defense. They’re susceptible to both the run & pass, they’re small & can be bullied in both trenches. The offense is a bit more of a challenge, due to multiple factors:

-Elite play calling (McVay)
-QB
-Two All-Pro receivers (Puka & Adams)
-Good running game & OL
-Experience in big games
