Chiefs take Brad Cottam, hopefully the TE BB was going to take lol...

Pats on deck after Cincy

Down goes Connor, Cottam and Reggie Smith. All our guys are dropping like flies. Avril's still there though.

Bengals take DT Pat Sims. Avril still there. Pats up.

Bengals take Pat Sims, NE's on the clock!

If we don't pick Avril now, then we just don't like him....

Connor wasn't a Patriots guy, he's a 43 tampa 2 backer.

Avril and Goff are two backers I want though.

Shawn Crable to the Pats. Rush LB.

Shawn Crable!! One of the other LB's we all talked about....I'm surprised they liked him over Avril though.

Kid from Michigan? Experience in a 3-4 and has played OLB, but I don't know. He has failed to produce in every system he's played in.

BB & CO hadn't selected any LB's in the first three rounds going in, now they've selected two in one draft. One pass rushing OLB, and one WILB...I'm happy.

Crable had 90 TT's, 28.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, and 4 Forced Fumbles in 2007. I had Avril rated higher, but I also love this pick.

I don't like this pick at all. I have no problem with the player, but you'd have to try hard to convince me he wouldn't have been there for us later on.

Sometimes I think BB and SP out-think themselves when they get infatuated with a guy, and end up taking him early when he would almost certainly be available later, I felt the same way about Wheatley.

Brilliant.

"The All-American and All-Big Ten Conference second-team pick served as team captain in 2007. Crable started 12 times, ranking second on the team with a career-high 37 tackles (28 solos) and 7.5 sacks. He led the conference and ranked second nationally with a school season-record 28.5 stops behind the line of scrimmage. He also had four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and four pressures."

It was time my friend. I think that they realized that for themselves last year.

How many times have they lost their guy when they waited?

Stewart Bradley from last year and other probably make them reach a bit to grab there guy.

I'm just going off what The Sporting News says. I don't watch Michigan games because Big Ten football sucks. They say he's too stiff to make it in the NFL.
