Why would you buy divison and conference champions gear?

What happens to all the t-shirts made for the losing teams? Trashed? Donated? I haven't seem except for that one time.

I hope so too.

I hope the Pats take off the shoulder pads and then put on the shirts.
I thought Maroney and others looked kind of funny with the shirt pulled over the pads.

I think the league must make agreements with shops as well.
We were at the Super Bowl last year and the hotel shop manager assured us he would have gear for the winning team for sale by the time we got back there that night. There were lots of hats and shirts at the airport the next morning as well.

It seems like such a waste of all the losing teams' shirts, but at least they get some use by somebody.

I don't see any problem with Conference title shirts (Division ones are a different story).

Yes, maybe Pats fans can laugh at them now and refer to them as pathetic, but in 1986 and 1997, the attitude may have been slightly different.

So I'd say, don't be so hard on the fans of teams without a Super Bowl.

You got to think a smart Peace Corp employee could aid an entire village with one of these. I mean how much would Boston Bar owner pay for a St. Louis Rams Rams Super Bowl XXXVI T-shirt or a 2004 Colts AFC Championship hat to hang in the bar?
