I don't hate the notion, especially given the difficulty of the kick. Although I'm a little old school in terms of I'm not big on rule changes, but it would certainly make things interesting.

I also don't mind it. The strategy and potential for late game heroics could be even better. You may even see more 2pt conversions, which the NFL loves for the drama.

Eh not sure about this one. I don't think 2 long FG's where the offense didn't even have to drive into the opponent's side of the field should be a bigger reward to a team than an offense that scores a TD.

Also would be a massive home field advantage in places like Denver.

Maybe do it if the rules around teams managing their own K balls go back to what they were prior to last year.

I like the concept, but not sure how it would affect the game.

From an analytics standpoint would there be many more teams conceding to kick field goals from 60 rather than push the ball downfield? The risk is turning it over in your own territory if you miss.

Kickers are routinely hitting bombs now.

It could dramatically change the complexion of the game.

Why not decrease points awarded to FGs from 35 or less to 2 points? I’d rather see teams go for it on 4th down in the red zone.

Of all the rules that would be cool: reward the Kicker and the HC who puts faith in that kick. They're some really Good Kickers in the League right now and we have one of them.

No. This isn't the NBA where you get rewarded for failing to advance the ball.

Besides I'm not even sure how it works. Suppose you're on the 20 with 1 second left trailing by 4. Can you deliberately back up the line of scrimmage 25 yards to make it a 4-pointer instead of a 3-pointer?
