How about a series of trades, that results in trading up? If not in the first round, perhaps the second.

Another option is being patient, and taking some of those late round picks to trade up one round in 2027.

If an OT is going to sit for a season, why not just draft one next year? Or draft a more raw prospect in the later rounds, given that you can spend a year developing them before they're actually needed.

Edge for me as it's the more immediate need (assuming we are getting Brown so don't need to worry about a top WR).
 
If they keep it OL or EDGE has to be the pick unless someone really unexpectedly drops in the draft and he’s there at 31 or within striking distance of a realistic trade. Example if Bain falls to say 21 the Pats should make that call and try to climb up.

But more likely than not they trade out. Especially if they’re getting Brown. Getting an extra pick probably will help.
