He owes the public nothing. If he was running for politics and he made a possible conflicting quote then he would have to explain a little more in detail. Because he would need someone’s vote. The problem is that he originally told the public that the photos show an innocent interaction. And that any speculation that it was more was "laughable."
Because he said this originally (it's laughable) to the public who said this romantic resort photos are a bad look, he owed the public an apology for that and for creating the circus for putting himself in this situation. What went on behind closed doors we don't know. But you can't tell the public the evidence is laughable and then not say your sorry for a bad situation you created for your family, the team and the organization
No apology, and from what he said originally, it comes off as dishonest when he said this was laughable.
As long as he has the ownership and players vote and his behind closed doors explanation was sufficient with them. He is done with this personal matter of his. Now if it bothers you that much you can refuse to support the team. If enough people do that then Kraft would have to make a decision.
IMO, most fans like myself don’t give a ****. The others will forget all about it once we win our first game. Possibly if we have a good draft then that will suffice.
If your local HS teacher had an affair, nothing would have to be said other than to his wife. That teacher takes care of your children. This is football. He takes care of 6’4” 270 lb animals.
