I don't really believe that. He's the HC of the NE Patriots a vilified organization in a lot of parts around the country. This just adds to the BS that fans will have to endure imo. He made some poor choices and as a public figure needed to be much smarter.Most people deflect when something compromising happens to them. Unfortunately most will double down on it. He obviously came forward to Kraft because the Patriots tried to kill the story. He just had all the players in and I am sure he manned up. He is going to counseling with his fami,y so he came clean there also.
He did not give a gotcha quote yesterday but with his word salad he admitted something more than his original comment which was smart. Last thing you want to do when you are in the public life is give a quote that the press and media will play over and over and it will never go away.
As far as the fans. He owes them nothing on this situation. It’s a personal matter that did not break any laws. If he ran the ball all day on a team that was weak in the passing game then he owes an explanation to the fans who payed good money to watch the game. Having an affair. Sorry your putting way to much stock into being a fan
