Not A Terrible Start On Acquisitions to the 90-man Roster

In addition, almost all the Practice Squad players signed futures contracts (excepting Battle who decided to move on to MIA).

Also, an OT from the past, Gutierrez will compete again for a spot.

So the Mitchell thing, which I assume went through already (?), is another meh camp body who apparently had a TD last pre-season. I can't do the deep analysis to decide whether we like what we have or a Chiefs castoff with a TD last pre-season deep down the depth chart... I think we find that out in camp. Tonga's huge. I hope other big signings are of our own FAs and ialong the O-line, but of course I'm watching w baited breath...

So, okay, got it, Mitchell signed a futures deal to take his shot in camp, no news on Chaisson or Tonga (or anybody else whose name I recognize). TU whoever linked us to Mitchell's info.

League year opens March 11, right?

Here's an article about Houston drooling over Bradbury

Oooo. We could save 5.7m by releasing him. Fine... who is the replacement (and nobody say draft a rookie)?

Everybody and everything annoys me except articles out of Buffalo showing how in their heads we are...

One thing is gone forgotten.. the Loss of Gibson.. this season really impacted the RB room.. we got great production and explosiveness from hendo.. but Gibson is a special teams ace and can run between the tackles and pass protect.. I believe all 3 backs would have all been able to help each other stay fresher as the season wore on.. our running game was a big reason we couldn't move the offense in the last two games Denver and Seattle..

I don't know where he's at with his recovery but sure love to have him back..

He was just cut.

He needs to learn to identify and hit the hole better, and the line needs to open holes better. Ideally, both happen simultaneously next year and he has a big leap.

Edit: Also… this is a 2nd round pick who had over 1100 yards from scrimmage in his rookie season, averaged almost 5.5 yards per touch and was fourth on the team in receptions. That’s a friggin’ good rookie year people. Let’s set a reasonable bar here.
This. calling him a disappointment seems a little wild.

There are some of the same who want to pay Linderbaum 20m and not pay a player on the team of value.. so that is where those takes are coming from...

My criticism of Henderson is that he seems to go down on first contact too many times.

He gets there fast, but doesn't shred tackles like I would like.
The problem with you saying this is nearly 40% of his yards are after contact according to Pro Football Reference. He'll never be confused for prime Derrick Henry who was getting 30+ broken tackles a season, but he's not Mike "3 yards" Cloud, either.

You're not one to talk. You want every tom, **** and harry that you think is a decent pass catcher despite what everyone else sees. Which is why you went from Pitts to Likely.

Likely has attitude issues and his effort during games is questionable. Everyone saw that when the Ravens played the Pats.

Hendo…won’t lie, kind of disappointed.

Seems to be just fast and that’s it.

You post this kind of ignorant crap way too much only to find out how incredibly wrong you are. Look at these stats. They are fantastic for a rookie, especially with the o-line we had. Dude had 10 TDs as a frikin rookie!!! Rookies are inconsistent much of the time. This kid will be dangerous when the game slows down and he gets a better line.

Yes. You're the guy in the glass house. We all know that.

Unlike you, I want people that will actually address issues on the team. You just want "different".
