You still haven't addressed what I wrote about 1st place schedules versus last place schedules. There's a one game difference in the W/L column, AT MOST.

Definitely not true.

Difference between Pats and Bills schedule this year, for example, is Pats got to play Raiders and Titans (two worst teams in the NFL), while the Bills played BOTH the AFC Champion and NFC Champion and another playoff team.

Just a tad

But honestly point of the stat was not 8-9 vs 9-8, it was how does he do against good teams.

Here are two quarterbacks' stats just against playoff teams, one that plays for New England and one who plays in a new stadium that is designed after a toilet bowl in upstate New York.

Can you tell me which one is Super Bowl QB Drake Maye and which one is Mr. January (But Not February) Josh Allen? Because you're telling me Drake sucks vs good teams, but... these stats sure do look pretty close to me... Does that mean Josh Allen sucks??

QB1:
- 168/244 (68.9%)
- 1803 yards passing (225 per game, 7.4 YPA)
- 66 carries for 292 yards rushing (37 per game, 4.4 YPC)
- 11 passing TDs, 7 rushing TDs
- 6 INTs
- 3 fumbles lost
- Win/loss record of 4-4

QB2:
- 148/227 (65.2%)
- 1727 yards passing (216 per game, 7.6 YPA)
- 46 carries for 289 yards rushing (36 per game, 6.3 YPC)
- 10 passing TDs, 4 rushing TDs
- 6 INTs
- 5 fumbles lost
- Win/loss record of 5-3

The 2024 AFC Champion had a losing record in 2025. KC was 6-11 while the Raiders and Titans were both 3-14. Not a huge difference. Stop portraying that the Bills played the 2024 AFC Champion as if they played a good team.

Philadelphia was 11-6 though.

Let me ask you this once again.

What would be the Patriots record against those teams? Go ahead. Assign wins and losses for those 3 games.

Does that mean Josh Allen sucks?

This could be on the table, now that he's spread thin running both the front office and coaching staff.

I really feel bad for the new DC Leonard. He's been given a defense that McDermott was holding together with scotch tape and rubber bands.

Leonard is coming in with an aggressive blitz heavy approach, but they have no one in their backfield like Gonzo, Marcus Jones and Carlton Davis, and their safety room is thin too.

I'm sure they will address the DB problem in the offseason, but that defense is going to get ripped apart unless the personnel improves massively.

No I didn’t. I said the Patriots would win that game. I said Houston has a really good defense but Pats would win fairly easily.

And that remains true.

The Patriots are back to 7-9 wins next season. And they have a pretty big question mark at QB.

I've got even more bad news for you, bud. You're claiming that Drake only throwing 2 passing touchdowns in 3 games against teams with winning records makes him awful. That's about 0.7 per game.

So what does that make Josh Allen? He played against 5 teams with winning records. How many passing touchdowns did he throw? Must be a lot more, right?

Uh oh, he only threw 6. That's just over 1 per game. But, y'know, better than Drake, at least a little, I guess...

But, wait!! Bigger uh oh!!!! 5 out of those 6 were against the Patriots, who you say are actually bad and just had an easy schedule!! We can't count those, right?

How many passing TDs did Josh throw against teams with winning records that aren't New England? Well, let's see... he played 3 such games... Oh, only 1 passing TD combined in those 3 games.

Huh. I guess he must suck as bad as Drake!! Sorry to break it to you, but it's your logic, hard to argue with it.

Woh, woh, woh! I never said it makes him awful. Never!

Unproven? Yes.

Concerning because of what he did over the last 7 games? Sure.

Awful? No.

Depending on when in the year they played those teams, 0-3.

Okay, so then you should also be concerned about Josh Allen.

Make it make sense. You are twisting yourself into a pretzel here.

You're a hater. Let's face it.

We own the Texans.

The Chiefs lost 11 games. They lost to the Titans.

They lost early in the season, 2-3 start, they lost late in the season. They lost with Mahomes, they lost without Mahomes.

AND even with your laughable and ridiculous 0-3 record, where you have the Patriots ridiculously losing every game, that's still only a difference of 2 games, so the Patriots record would've been 12-5.

Do you understand how pathetic you are?

Not yet. Bulger went through a lot including a broken leg.
You don't get it. Doesn't matter whether it's an injury or what ever. Maye got as close as he's going to get. It's not because Im not a fan. It's not because I hope it happens. It's not because I think I want it to happen. It's because that's how the billion dollar corporations work. The Dynasty is over. Its on to Seattle or Denver or Los Angeles or some other team. It doesn't matter if Mayes ends up being real good.
There's no more super bowls coming.
Hell, football might not even exist in 20 years the way things are going.
The magic number seems to be 6 for now.
So you can choose to watch football for football's sake. Or look for another team to root for. But it's not happening here any more.
6-6 at SB 60. The ritual is done.
By your collectors items and paraphernalia before it disappears.

You're really working hard to sell this strawman argument for some reason... I mean it's really pretty far out there. Seems more like a conspiracy driven strawman seasoned with Dunning/Kruger.

I'm intrigued to see what happens next year. Obviously I think the Pats were really good this year despite the soft schedule. I don't really mind at this point if other fans see it differently. That's the problem with so many stats. They point in all different directions, and it's hard to debate them all.

I am really curious to see whether Buffalo continues to be as good as they have been or whether they start falling apart. I think any team with a great QB will always be able to compete. But I don't like the coaching changes and promoting the GM. So, who knows?

Really, there aren't going to be any answers until next season. But I think the Pats/Bills games next year should be really electric.

Um, what?...this has nothing to do with a strawman argument.
