Major props and respect to any Pats fans going to this SB. SEA fans will outnumber NE fans by 5:1.
SB attending pats fans deserve major kudos on this board

Great commitment to team support

I was thinking about going for 3 weeks now. My brother in law is working the SB for his company (limo service), he said I can share the hotel room for free, and my sister is a travel agent, so she can book the flights, he told me this after the Pats beat the Chargers in the first playoff game. He said if they win 2 more playoff games, that I should go.

But the SB tickets are so insanely high. Can’t find a single ticket for under $7000. So most likely not going, though I want to. I’m 63 years old, and didn’t go to any of the Pats other 11 Super Bowls. The younger folks in my office tell me YOLO, but it’s just way too expensive.
Haven't posted here for a long time but still do the occasional read. I felt compelled to take 15 mins to figure out my login info so I could respond to you.

Can't say what $7k means to you because it's a lot of money regardless, but if you're not going paycheck to paycheck, you should consider going.

My dad and I talked about going to the next Super Bowl together when I was in college. He passed away shortly after graduation (2014). Pats were in the Super Bowl the next year against the Seahawks. My sisters and I flew out to Phoenix but the tix were just insanely bad ($9k was the cheapest and I was broke). We watched the game at a friend's house then went downtown to celebrate the big win. The best weekend of my life...until...

I wasn't going to wait the next time to buy tix. In 2016, the Pats were up 18 points or whatever against the Steelers in the 2nd half. Bought tix then. My sister and a few buddies of mine flew into Dallas to save money, rented a car down to Houston, and got to witness the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history.

If it's something that's been on your bucket list or your gut tells you to go, you should go. The experience is priceless. At the very least, take advantage of the flight/hotel situation and go enjoy the weekend experience whether it be by yourself or bringing a family member/friend and then catch the game somewhere else (I'm sure there are other Pats fans meet-ups for a watch party).

My $0.02. Go Pats!

My $0.02. Go Pats!
I concur and sorry about your Father.

Go. The perfect time is not coming. I went during the great recession and put the cost on a credit card which I eventually paid off, but it was money that I did not have. I reasoned that the Pats will only be this good once in my lifetime and that I will never pass this way again. Over the last 7 years since Brady left I was reminded that I made the correct decision regardless of the reckless financial decision. You do not know what you have until its gone. I never expected for the Pats to be back in a Superbowl again.

I eventually attended 7 Super Bowls only getting inside twice vs the NY Giants. All the rest I tried to get tickets to no avail. I still had a great time with many memories and stories to tell.

No was never on KFFL. Never even visited it.
Heard about it from people and that's why I never went there
Too bad.

It was comedy gold.

I'm impressed by anyone who would pay that kind of money to go. I'm waaaayyyy too cheap for something like that.

So, there is a NEP fan club that meets in Campbell, CA 17 miles from Levi Stadium. They have approximately 100 active members and meet for Pats games at Little Lous BBQ 2455 Winchester BLVD, Campbell, CA 95008

I have an email into the club inquiring if this would be a good location to hang out SB week. Im guessing not since it is a restaurant first and foremost and they prefer to turn tables with folks wanting to eat.

So, there is the Connecticut Yankee a Boston sports bar approximately 49 miles from Levi Stadium. Recent posts on Reddit indicate that it was standing room only for the AFCC. Celts games too. Its small, but has outdoor seating. Connecticut Yankee 100 Connecticut ST, San Fran, CA 94107. More in line with other NEP SB hang outs like in Indy, Houston and Phoenix.

Then, there is the Red Jack Saloon which is in close proximity to Conn Yankee, so its also 49 miles from Levi Stadium. The owners are from Mass. They definitely cater to a Boston crowd. Dog friendly. Small bar with outside seating. Located 131 Bay ST San Fran, CA 94133.

This list could change as NEP fans adopt different bars or as the Boston sports media holds NEP gatherings as they have in the past.

One Seattle fan claims to have bought a ticket face value @ $2750.00 upper level sec, 300.

So the teams make some tickets available at face value to season ticket holders? Is that true for the Pats?

Ive never been a STH or even attended a Pats game at the new stadium, but from what I gather there is a lottery for both teams.

Attempting to make the pilgrimage out to Santa Clara. Flights and a place to stay are already booked; we will see if we make it into the stadium or if we end up at a bar. I went to the last two without having any tickets and was successful in finding them at the last minute. Fingers crossed we can go 3/3.

That's the way it works.

You aint going in if you aren't there. SB52 tickets came down mid week to $3500, but then shot up out of sight after. At SB53 I went down morning of the game and parked free so close to the US Bank stadium that I could throw a rock at it and bust out a window. Ditched my coat because I didn't want to carry it inside and tried to score a ticket. IIRC, nosebleeds were 3K and up. Eventually came to the realization that it wasnt going to happen and hit a sports type bar near my hotel. That SB was like having it at the North Pole.

Such a weird stadium with those luxury boxes looking like an office building on one side.

Prices may be starting to fall a bit.

I see two tickets x2 available on TickPick for $5500 a piece and 2 tickets on StubHub for 5800 a piece.
