Win or Lose against Denver, Patriots win

Magical unexpected season

Win and they are in SB
Lose and they still advanced all the way to the championship

Neither team is beating the NFC champion in SB

Denver has better OL and DL than pats. These games are won in the trenches.

Were you absolved of your bet?
And BS Denver has a better DL

SBC - you posted something mostly positive. Good on you, keep it up.

He hasn't left yet. The bet doesn't kick in until they play the next game.
Technically it should have kicked in when the Patriots clinched a playoff spot but the goalposts were moved.

The Pats are 16-1 in their last 17 games, including 4-0 against the NFC, they beat the same Bucs team that beat Seattle while scoring 38.

A Pats ''fan'': Why even play the SB, we're losing to the NFC team, anyway.

You're not a fan, you're a glory hunter. Predicting all the worst outcomes, always down on the team, always criticising and downplaying, but always there to revel when they beat the odds and win.

I can't wait for ''What a magical season, we won the SB, even though this team is a lot worse than the Brady/Belichick ones. Incredible!''

If the 2001 Rams and 2007 Patriots can lose, anybody else can lose.
And the 2007 Pats lost, largely in part due to Steve Spagnuolo's game plan. After watching the last 3 playoff games, I am confident that Zak Kuhr and Vrabel can come with a game plan to slow down Seattle.

Thought you were finally leaving and taking your negativity with you. Guess sticking to your word isn't important to you, huh?

Sam's bet was that if the Patriots made the playoffs he would leave when they were done for the season.

Ah, a two-week reprieve.

For the record, I don't really want to get rid of anyone, but the relentless negativity is a bit eye rolling. I'm all for calling out areas of improvement, but some people just aren't happy unless they're miserable.

Agree completely. I'm fine with looking at games critically, that's the only way you can understand where they are at, what I have no patience for is the weekly " he sucks, they need to get rid of him.....", only for the same people to turn around and talk about how great they are weeks later.
