So Pats now have 5 road conference championship wins - 85 Miami, 01 Pittsburgh, 04 Pittsburgh, 18 Kansas City and 25 Denver. They must have the most road wins to get to the super bowl in the league. Or at least be tied.

if they fly home they can't land. PVD is closed, as is BOS. Soonest any of their runways might open is 05:30 at PVD and that seems uncertain at best.

I'd expect their flight department told them a day or two ago they'd be staying in Denver tonight. That would've been an easy call.

I started being a pats fan post dynasty... all the players in college that were my age had retired... so I had no allegiance (as im in-between titans and falcons geographically.... YEAH RIGHT)

Never liked a team that sucked so bad... turn it around so easily.

I witnessed this:

1999 St. Louis Rams: Finished 4-12 in 1998, then went 13-3 and won the Super Bowl.
(It killed the titans forever)

I love that the defense is carrying this team. It will be good for the Super Bowl and a positive for the future.

Other today, I think the offense has been overly maligned, but today it was definitely an issue. I don’t know what Maye needs to do to get over these early game jitters, but the Pats can’t afford for him to have them in the Super Bowl.

The weather was the issue, and the opposing defense. Certainly as much today as last weekend. if you think the offense has been unfairly maligned for last weekend why are you maligning them for this weekend?

@Ian feature request: a second GDT with a one-way trapdoor into it from the main GDT, triggered by exceeding a threshold value of bozo or smh reactions. Let the negative folks inhabit their private bubble without spewing their toxicity onto those who want to share enjoyment in the GDT.

Then Ian has to deal with one whole new thread for each of those wieners asking why they were kicked out of the GDT and yelling at the mods for being too sensitive and no fun. Moderating online communities sucks.

Some people watch the game by themselves and are nervous, stressed out, frustrated and they vent that’s all it is.

The most crazy thing about this playoffs is that defensive play in the NFL is finally ****ing back. The newest evolution to overcome the rules absolutely handing everything to the offense is that defensive lineman are so much more athletic and skilled. Will we see rule changes in the offseason to stack the deck in favor of offense yet again?

There's a "Mute" button that allows you to immediately mute that person in that thread. It's safe to use specifically for this scenario since you're not placing them on any permanent ignore. That function is strictly thread specific and simply hides any further posts from that person for the remainder of the thread. Since those threads are closed when the game ends, it makes it pretty easy.

So if someone is overly negative or irritating, that button will make all posts disappear from that person for the remainder of that thread, but it won't affect any of the other threads and isn't something you'll need to maintain under any ignore list, etc. Not unless you put them on a "Forum-wide mute (meaning you won't see their posts elsewhere)", or you "Block" them.

I think better weather conditions will help our passing offense. Most likely it will be tough but I believe the Patriots can move the ball better than they have been doing.

I’d say the Pats defense has the edge over Seattle’s offense.
