If the Patriots somehow win the Super Bowl, where would you rate this team in terms of best Patriots teams ever?

Honestly, this feels like 2001 all over again. They flipped their record around, 2000 Pats were 5-11, 2001 they were 11-5. 2001 Brady was a 2nd year QB. In the playoffs, nobody believed in them. The 2001 team was talked about as having one of the worst rosters in football prior to the season (sound familiar ?). EVERYONE will bet against the Pats in the SB.

Vrabel was there on that 2001 season, had a huge play in SB 36 to force an INT to Ty Law for a pick six. He knows defenses win championships. If they play well defensively like they have the last 3 playoff games, and Maye plays well, they could win. It’s gonna be tough no matter what.

I can’t believe we only gave up seven points since some in the GDT said our defense sucked, they were pathetic, the coaches sucked and were totally getting out coached. How is this possible?

you could type that first sentence on every GDT. It should be invitation only with a Sargeant At Arms to boot out anyone who gets temp stupid. Three strikes your out and someone else gets an invite.

This might be Drake's eli year .. where defense carries him and Drake has one unbelievable David tyree catch from Boutte or williams .

I am not gonna worry too much about it. I will leave it up to Vrabel. Theoretically they can move Wilson to C and Campbell to LG but then you still need an LT. I think Campbell can still be good enough, and I am expecting Vrabel to give him at least another year of development. We’ll see though. Lowe looked decent this year, if they do move Campbell then Lowe may be good enough to fill the gap for the time being. But that’s a 2026 season problem.

Lowe isn't going to be here next year. He's going to get signed to a starting position with another team.

Campbell is going to be the starting LT going forward for years to come.
