Somebody wanted him, but nobody will admit to it.

Not sure if that’s better, or worse.
Lmao. Well said.

They seem to be positioning themselves to give the Jete a run for their money
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jete end up 2nd in the AFCE next year. The Bills and Fins look like they’re headed for dumpsterville. At least Glenn will bring some level of stability, even if he’s mediocre, and they have tons of picks and their front office is generally doing a decent job the last few years as far as draft selections.

I've seen Bills fans compare Allen to Brady. Yet, I watched the Denver game thinking:

Tom Brady tells the OC/HC it's a bad idea to run a play with twenty seconds left in your territory with no timeouts. Or, he just arm punts the ball at worst. He does not take off running.

Tom Brady hits Knox for that go ahead TD with little time left.

He does not turn it over four times. Brady was the master at taking what defenses gave him instead of being a gunslinger. Allen has yet to grasp this concept.

In the last three playoffs, the Bills had the ball with a chance to win/take the lead. Two years ago they could only manage an attempt at a game tying FG. Last year they did nothing. This year, Allen goes for an unnecessary bomb to Cooks. That gets picked and Denver gets the game winning kick over Buffalo.
Nobody compares to Brady, but Brady became mortal during years his supporting cast wasn't up to par. 2002 was rough playing 13 of 16 teams with records of .500 and above with an awful defense. Offense took a drop off in 2005 when Corey Dillon fell off a cliff and met his kryptonite against Denver. He dragged that 2006 team to the AFFCG and was close of getting them back to the Super Bowl. 2010 team didn't have outside WR's and Rex Ryan made adjustments and exploited it in the divisional round. 2013 Brady had no shot in Denver. We all know what went down in 2019. That supporting cast was arguably his worst.

Sure, Allen missed throws, but the Bills aren't even sniffing the divisional round without him. This is something that is being severely overlooked. The problem has been and still is that there is nobody that can consistently command any attention on offense. They traded that guy away in Diggs and haven't been able to replace him. I'm sorry, but that guy who's name sounds like "Shakira" is barely sniffing Cole Beasley numbers as the primary target. The first order of business is bumping that guy back down the totem poll to the #4th targeted player at minimum. He reminds me of Jakobi Meyers in NE. The more targets he saw, the more drives would end up stalling.

Until Allen has a real supporting cast at WR and one of Knox/Kincaid take over as the Alpha TE, he gets a pass.

Mediocrity is Glenn's wet dream

Ok I'm glad I'm not insane and at least some of sports media is finally catching onto this. A train wreck is happening right in front of everyone's eyes.
Yeah, that was a crazy. I mean, is Keon Coleman going to be cut tomorrow? How does he possibly stay with that organization?

He would be happy to coast around 7 wins for a few years.
I don’t think he will ever see 7 wins. Not in a season, maybe not in his career combined.

I apologize; I thought that you were discussing the end of their season.
I actually think the Bills season ended about as well as you could've expected tbh. They way overachieved considering the Patriots rise and all the injuries they had. Would've been nice I'm sure to make it to the AFCCG for them but all things considered losing in OT to the 1 seed as a Wildcard isnt some grand disappointment with the way their roster looked. I think their ownership way overreacted and has looked awful these last couple days

My head exploded watching Pegula's cluelessness, especially regarding his postgame locker room observations. I'm guessing the guy never participated in athletics personally, probably thinks a jockstrap goes on backwards.
Well, gotta have something to catch the poop.... otherwise it just runs down your legs...

Thanks much. Mine….
I didn’t like a wrapping row so added a row to split my irrelevants into two groups & adjusted all titles-colors.
I also sorta tried to organize them left to right in most likable (top 2)/ most irrelevant or dis-likable (bottom 4). Not sure I 100% agree w myself on some of the L-R sequencing, but called quits.

Neat thing, albeit likely only a 1-time visit website. So I didn’t bother w an account etc. Haha.

Seems likely that if he has any self-respect he would demand a trade. ….. only problem is, I’m not sure anyone would even give up a 7th after that **** show.

Likely best to just report in w a fractured labia* and go on IR for rest of career.
(* credit to whoever I stole that from in another thread. )

I don't see that changing. Allen is the big fish in the small pond. He often feels he has to carry the team on his shoulders because he often does, but as you point out he also often does it when he doesn't need to.

Until Allen has a real supporting cast at WR and one of Knox/Kincaid take over as the Alpha TE, he gets a pass.

Allen's contract takes up around 20% of the Bills cap. No pass for him!

I don’t hate Allen and I’m sure he’s a good guy. With that said, the team has had a lot of chances to get to the Super Bowl. Hell, they had four straight chances to win one in the 90s. Why should I respect a team who has never been able to win the big one? Mahomes has won three and has earned that respect. Stafford won one and now has that respect.

Right... They were what, the #6 seed? Only six #6 seeds in NFL history have ever reached the AFC/NFC Championship game, and only two of those six have gone on to make the Super Bowl (2005 Steelers and 2010 Packers). The math certainly was not in their favor. But, I doubt Pegula has any idea about that.
