The call on Davis was complete BS MADE UP call since that ball was uncatchable since it landed more than 2 yards OOB

6 sacks is wild. I can’t believe how they turned up the heat on the DL in the second half. They beat the living hell out of Herbert. Incredible

It's a HUGE difference when we have healthy Milton Williams in the game.

I also feel Chaisson needs to get his flowers. He stepped up with 2 big sacks as well.

Last and not least let's not forget Marcus Jones contributions. He had a sack and several key pass breakups in big situations.

Our defense really stepped up and played hard. They made life miserable for Herbert and had one of their best performances of the season in the biggest game. They ONLY gave up 3 points against a tough Chargers team.

I was at the game. The fans were fired up. Haven't been to a game with so many lured up fans in a very long time. They made an impact and it was awesome.

Defense was amazing. Loved the rock fight mentality.

I know. It's still a part of the rule. It's absurd that they're calling it.. Especially on balls thrown OOB.

Let's not go anointing that Draft class as "Golden" anything just yet. Daniels can't stay healthy. And the jury is still out on Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Bo Nix.

I know what my eyes tell me. Maye is an elite QB talent. He has been showing it all season long.

I'm not saying he is going to be as great as #12 but he's definitely THE GUY to lead our team now.

I'm sure the Bears are very pleased with Caleb Williams winning his first playoff game as well.

As for Jayden Daniels he was great his rookie season, hasn't been as great in year 2. Hopefully he hasn't hit his ceiling yet.

I feel the 2024 draft class looks very special right now.

It feels a lot like the 1983 draft class. Out of that class came great QBs: John Elway, Jim Kelly, and Dan Marino.

The refs clearly called it 4th down. Then they announced the call on the field of a first down was being reviewed. Then they announced the replay upheld the first down call.

I saw one official calling it fourth down, is it possible another one called it first down so they appealed to replay for the tiebreaker?

That whole sequence was really bad and one of the shadier things I’ve seen in the league lately. I hope there’s more reporting on it but I kind of doubt it.

It was not very well explained, whatever it was.

It was not very well explained, whatever it was.

The one called it 4th down. It's HIS call. The other judge marked it short despite claiming it was a 1st down.. Which is why the explanation that the ruling of it being 4th down being overturned was BS. Because the MARKS were short. Both side views showed Herbert 1/2 yard short.

I knew that the site counted posts since they are listed under each person's avatar. I've seen the Daily "Top Posters" before. But with it way down at the bottom on the forum listings page, I never scroll down to it as I tend to just plop my butt in the main forum..

At best, Davis should have been called for Illegal Contact. Not DPI. Still an automatic 1st down, but it's not a spot foul.

But then, Taeir Tart should have been called Illegal Contact or DPI because he shoved Douglas on one play well beyond the 1yard contact point. Collingsworth was touting Tart as playing great pass defense and I'm like. It's beyond the legal contact area and interfering with the offensive player running his route. That's a penalty.

I don't follow those teams very closely so I'm not sure how good their OLs and pass protection will be.

I do know that the Texans have the #1 scoring defense in the AFC so they would scare me more.

Whoever we face, I'm just glad we will be facing them at home because the playoffs are so tough. It's really hard to predict how it will turn out.
