I think I get what you’re stating here, but I’d suggest that the first hole playoff game in ages for a 14-3 team isn’t just “any reason”…

It's the playoffs. You win or you are done. They will play anyone who can go no matter how injured they are. Well, as long as they don't have a big risk of reinjuring and for long term.

I don't want a "good game." I want a Pats blowout. But I don't think I'm gonna get it.

I understand we are going to have to rely on our running game. Is the "New Rhamondre" an illusion? Will Henderson prove too tiny? Will the surprisingly good O-line turn into a quartet of pumpkins? Or will Drake unveil a whole new level of play? Any of these, I think, is possible.

I guess I'm supposed to enjoy the uncertainty, find it titillating or something. No thanks. Gimme my blowout.

I have an inkling that a WR other than Diggs is gonna have an heroic game, but that could be nothing more than blind hope. I'm glad I don't gamble, because I have no idea who will win this thing.

Heh. Just posted the same, hours later. I can do without a lot of excitement. I'm generally anti-excitement, the game starts like a half hour before my usual bedtime, and I have the first session of a new course to teach tomorrow morning, sioit'd be nice if the game were a done deal, in our favor, by halftime. I really don't like my chances.
