I always hate hearing that from fans in any sport. I swear the amount of times they are right has to be like 2%. It's hard to win.

Absolutely. Anybody else remember this post-super bowl commercial?

Shaving that mustache may be bad luck,

But I won’t miss seeing it.
Great post game video!

Speaking of left side of the line.. kudos to Lowe hoping he can continue to build off his strong performance.. NYG have some serious pass rushers.. and he held his own. If Lowe continues to play well and protect Drake I say allow Campbell all the time he needs.. as it's an MCL tear...

Quick someone check Sam's temperature.
Lowe actually had a great game...

Anyone else think Williams TD was super close to being out? His knee looked out and couldn’t tell if he got the second foot down before the knee went out.
It was close, but I do believe the right foot was down as he caught the ball. Really really close though
It was close. MNF kept showing the replay trying to get it overturned but they were unsuccessful. Either conclusive evidence he got both feet down, or at least insufficient evidence that he did not.

Douglas since the Saints game:

23 targets
20 receptions
372 yards
2 TDs
147.7 passer rating when targeted

He’s developed into a good role player. After whiffing on WRs for a decade they hit on two of them in the 6th round.
I guess « did they whiff ? Yea, but they also drafted Pop & Boutte… there were multiple problems with lack of production in the past. But you could argue the last few years haven’t been too bad. Rookie Williams has at least two « wow » plays and if he gives NE two or three more of those, at key moments…

Help me here please. In both the Cinncy game and the NY game Drake Maye came up short of the 300 yard passing games. Both also had Hunter Henry td's called back?
#gamblingAlert !

If the defense can play with this much intensity for the next 4 weeks they will do very well and might just sneak into the 1 or 2 seed. Very impressive playoff like performance last night. Vrabel had them ready at the first snap of the game.

Also looks like Maye has figured out the QB sneak thing. 2 for 2 last night?

Tonga needs to be back for the Bills game. Great roster management to hold him out yesterday and let him heal up for what will be the biggest game of the season.
After last night I don’t think they can sneak into the playoff seeding. The spotlight is on them. And if last night showed how the play when the lights are brightest we are going to want to see it all as clearly as we can. No sneaking anything.

I like that Vrabel is turning the Ellis hit into a lesson for Maye about getting out of bounds and sliding. My major concern for the future of this franchise is Maye's longevity.
Yes, and this story in The Athletic about the hit With one hit, Patriots bring the swagger back to Gillette Stadium (sorry if it’s paywalled) gave a little reinforcement to the lesson:
It was a win-win for Vrabel. He was able to celebrate the hard hit while also using it as a teaching moment for his own wandering quarterback, whose occasional pursuit of the extra yard has everyone inside Gillette Stadium suffering nightmares of Maye hobbling around on crutches and telling kids how he used to play in the NFL.

The Elliss hit, Vrabel said, “is a weekly reminder to our quarterback … to not get too cute over there by the sidelines.”

Naturally, Maye was asked if the Elliss hit inspired Vrabel to shoot a glance over at his quarterback. Maybe a wink, a nod, something to convey the message that dangerous running can result in bad things happening to good quarterbacks.

“I don’t think he needed to,” said Maye, who completed 24 of 31 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns. “I think everybody in the stadium knew.”

Sour grapes are par for the course, but what really strikes me on Bills forums is the coach envy. They sound wistful talking about the Patriots as a well-coached, fundamentally sound team.

This is a common complaint that I've heard from Buffalo fans for years now: the main thing getting in the way of their true potential is the coaching.

It's a great example of what a team with a great QB and mediocre coaching will get you. Sustained regular season success with post-season letdowns. Coaching issues then becomes extra visible when you're facing tougher schedules and, in the case of the Bills, having tough draft positions.

I think one of Buffalo's biggest problems this year was a belief that they had it made already.
Entitlement is not a good foundation for success.

Not for long if Elliss is playing. Also, LOVED Johnson getting jacked going for a pass right after.
Yes! That hit by Mapu was a perfect exclamation point to embellish the hit on Dart. I’d forgotten that it was on Johnson. Sweet icing on the cake.

Yes, and this story in The Athletic about the hit With one hit, Patriots bring the swagger back to Gillette Stadium (sorry if it’s paywalled) gave a little reinforcement to the lesson:

Glad to see Maye really taking his lessons this year in full stride:

- Eliminated his early game yips

- Avoid unnecessary contact while knowing this offense needs you to remain calm in pocket

- Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy

- Pocket poise and movement

- Identifying pressure, maximize mismatches

I don't know if I've really watched a QB develop like that in front of my eyes. I was pretty young when Brady first came on, so I don't recall if his development was as visible, or a switch that just seemingly flipped on when the time called.

Entitlement is not a good foundation for success.
But I think it's also a great indication of how you can be in the bubble of what you think your team is/could be, but you don't have the clear picture of the rest of the league/world.

The website is acting funky.
Several times after the game I clicked on links in the index page and got served a totally different thread. Thread I got was usually four or five off in the index listing, not adjacent. It repeated multiple times but interspersed with correct results so not truly reproducible just repeatable. Was not always the same link. @Ian could this be cloudflare, or more likely your site?
