Much better in the red zone this week

The first one we didn’t punch in, but i liked the play action on an earlier down.

Rham had another easy td this week. Lazar mentioned the read option really worked on this play as maye had a defender frozen. In buffalo we had the misdirection for rhams easy walk in. We need to keep that up as opposed to last week’s disaster sequence, couldn’t score from 1st and goal at the 2. With an athletic qb red zone and 3rd and short should be a strength

Was flying in from Chicago and missed the game live, but I set it to record before I left. Managed to avoid any mention of the score on the way home and just finished watching the recording. A slow start, but a most enjoyable game. Stevenson showed, amazing perfect long pass caught in stride by Boutte, great defense TD by Chaisson. And Maye 21/23!!! Even Dobbs did his part. A complete game. Browns game should be fun next week. Wife's from Cleveland and I enjoy **** talking her football loving family.
I bet your wife's family loves Belichick. I was out there for the Pats game in Cleveland in 2000 and you could feel and hear the hate. Every second that didn't have the Browns doing something was filled with Bill's boos.

Just for entertainment's sake let's imagine after game 15 the Pats can't alter their playoff position. They could lay down and let the Jete & Dollyphins shoot themselves in their draft feet with harmful wins. Either of those organizations would 100% pull a Mayo, it's in their institutional DNA
The draft is a crap shoot and having a better pick doesn't guarantee a better player. The Pats getting Drake Maye is proof of that, unless we think they would have taken Maye at #1 also.

The Jets and Fins are going to both end up at or near the top of the draft no matter what we do. My quess is that Miami will make some good use of those picks but the Jets are the Jets and will mess up no matter what they do. It'll still be entertaining as all hell.

There is a live chat? Was it back in the day?

Man I keep having to eat crow with Maye's looking so frickin' great. Actually looking forward to Sundays now!

*At least he had one of his throwback "pass it way behind the receiver" throws, but Pop made an incredible catch, and it's such a rare occurrence now that he's been so pin point on target, that I can't even knock him for that.

They turned on him when he benched Bernie Kosar.

His WRs have been making some great catches on a weekly basis. Maye is really seeing the field well and is pretty on the money most passes. We saw Cam Ward throw behind his WR twice, once right before they kicked the first FG. Had it been an accurate pass they get the 1st down. The 2nd one ended up being a INT by Marcus Jones.

As a Maye lover in college, I did not expect this kind of play from him in his 2nd year. One nitpick, I noticed it a few weeks ago and it happened last week and again yesterday. He is hesitant to throw to Kyle Williams, he puts an extra pat on the ball or adds an extra hitch. I point that out to say it is an absolute pleasure to see him throwing to the rest of the guys. He is very fluid and his ball placement is tremedous.

Maybe I am missing something. But the
gameday thread was not available to me. I looked everywhere and could not find it.

I'm using a Galaxy phone.

It's there.

One thing to try that worked for me in the past: In tiny/grey text at the bottom right of the screen there is 'Show ignored content'. Hard to find since it's grey so you probably need to scroll to get it over a light background. Give that a try. Otherwise @Ian might have something else to try.

Why would you want to knock him?

If you have the ouster who started it on ignore you won’t see it

What I put in bold was not true: there were several missed throws.

I wanted Maye at 3. I'm happy we did.
I wasn't pointing out he only had 1 bad ball, I was pointing out he had an early miss throw and then was dominate, not perfect.

70 throws, 4 misses out of 70 plus 2 drops. Deep balls, off platform, real simulated blitzes to make him move.

Daniels missed 4 of 56, including 2 terrible deep balls

Wiliams was 4 misses in 50 including a couple bad deep balls.

Daniels and Williams almost always set and threw, little off platform, no tough throws.

If someone can watch Maye's pro day and think he was inaccurate because of a couple throws then they some level of crazy LOL.

Rewatching these he was way more dominate than I remember, look at the Williams lollipop deep balls, terrible. It's like the other 2 made no effort on their pro days. The fact Maye went all out and the others didn't is a testament to his attitude and drive.

Catch was unreal ... But it also may be that Douglas ran the wrong route.

Ok.

Considering Maye's overall excellent accuracy maybe there's something going on specific to Douglas that causes so many misses or catches at the extremes of Pop's athleticism when he's targeted? Just wondering...

He definitely didn't. I know we want to give Maye the benefit of the doubt, but that was a straight up missthrow imho looking at the replay. Pop wasn't gonna be running straight at the LB, 50, or sitting in for the catch between/close to 2 defenders.
