But there were definitely some plus catches by our receivers today. We may not have a star WR1, but Diggs, Boutte, Douglas and Hollins and our two TEs all seem to have great hands.

They Saved his ass 3 times at least.
He's still a stud, he gave them a chance to make a play .

There was pressure from our right side on that 3rd down conversion that Dbbs had to spin out before the throw. I didn't notice if it was Bryant that got beat or not.

So, it's time for me Eat Crow. I said that I hated the move last year to stay and take Maye at #3. I did hate it at the time and all through last year because the offer from Minny was 2 picks and one of Darrisaw or Jefferson (supposedly). I can safely say that Maye has convinced me that the right move was made. He's clearly worked on his feet and that was his #1 biggest issue for his accuracy coming out of College.

I can also say that Diggs has been a great surprise after he shot his way out of Minny and Buffalo. Not sure what happened after he got hurt with Houston, but he's been a great addition to the team.

They probably figured that they couldn't run vs NE so try to win it by the pass, Pat's rush defense is 3rd best (3.3 ypc) and only allows 83 ypg prior to today and it is even lower now. They only allowed 3 rushing TDs.

The question is whether he touched him. I just checked again and NE has 5 sacks, but only 4 sacks are credited to players. They need to change that and award it to Chaisson.

Steelers lose, Jags lose.Broncos will lose. Charges will lose (Colts losing would have been good too..) The only thing that would have made it better if if KC somehow lost to the lowly Raiders (but clearly that didn't happen).

But maybe best of all. The Browns lit up the Dolphins. Pats will now face a Browns team that they won't sleep on and that just played the game of the year for them... No way they repeat a performance like that. Also not playoff related... but a Jets lost is always fun.

It pretty much all went the Pats way this week.

There is zero% chance they don't win the West.

It’s early. Mid OCT. both MIA & NYJ losing is key. Unless something crazy happens - and you really never know - both of those teams are already on pace to be fighting for 3rd / 4th in the AFCE. There is a decent chance that neither team will get to 6 wins this season and it seems likely NE will surpass that number.

They play good D and can pound the rock.
That is the type of team that could limit our TOP and challenge us.
Hopes are we continue to shut down the run, and put it in Gabriel's hands.
Shutting down their run is paramount next week.
