I don't dislike Love, he makes some outstanding throws, but he's still too inconsistent imho.
Maye looks like a superstar in the making.

Almost any decent QB can win a ring. Trent Dilfer won a ring.

It takes a really good roster around them, a lack of serious injuries all season, and a lot of luck.

But yeah he could win a ring.

If AJ Brown makes enough of a stink it could become a possibility. They'll want to trade him to the AFC.

I really hope he does not get traded to us. I stated why in another post somewhere, but not going to find it.

Let’s trade for Hendrickson, Thibideaux, Jaelen Phillips (in-division long shot) or some other rusher on a bad team. We need some juice opposite Landry. Chaisson is good, but would be best suited in a backup role.

I don't think that any of those guys currently bring anything more to the pass rush. The 3 above are all upgrades vs the run over Chaisson.

I have seen a Derrick Henry trade rumor. I also do not like the idea of trading for Henry either. Our OL is not creating holes on a regular basis and Henry tends to need some room to get going. I do not think Henry would do well behind our ****ty run blocking OL.

Its why I said currently. I know what he has done in the past, but he is not other worldly this year and he is 30. His age is another reason that I would not want them to make the trade.

Hendrickson, Thibs and Phillips seem to play with more power than Chaisson and I prefer that type of DE/Edge.

Cincy's D is a mess and they have no one to take double teams away from Trey.
I think a change of scenery and playing with Barmore and Williams would be very productive for Trey.

Very possible, like I said I prefer bigger guys that play with speed and power. Chaisson is a pretty good speed player and he is playing pretty well, but could be upgraded and if the price is not absurd it might be worth pursuing.

I do think that trades for other areas might be a better use of resources.

He's on an expiring contract, I don't think the price would that high (I could be wrong).

To me our 2 biggest weaknesses are outside pass rush and rushing offense.
I think we ban get fix the latter with what we have in-house, so edge is my #1 need.
Just my 2 cents.

Love is above average, sometimes very good. But you could throw in Micah Parsons and eat his contract, and I still wouldn't do that trade.

I think they could certainly use another RB because they’re one injury away from only having one guy, but I disagree with the popular opinion here that we’re being held back by the position. They had 6 runs for loss last game. That’s not a RB issue. Sure once in a while a back with totally botched a play but when you’re losing yards it’s usually because the plays are getting blown up and that’s what happened Sunday and that’s an OL problem. We’d all love Barry Sanders back there to make guys miss in the backfield, but Barry Sanders isn’t available. You can always improve, but other than the fumbling I don’t really see our backs as a weakness. It’s a big if but I think Stephenson otherwise is a really good running back in terms of yards after contact, getting north/south, being able to catch, pass pro especially. It’s such a shame because if he could just hold onto the ball he actually really, really good IMO. I don’t blame him for losing yards if he’s getting hit as he’s taking the handoff

We need a edge followed by cornerback and safety . Just hope oline starts yelling in better to open holes. I have a feeling rham and Jennings will come along well.

We don’t need a WR. We need a LB who can remotely cover. We are being gushed in the middle of the defense by average QBs. Yes our scoring defense is good but yards being given up is a concern.
Also need a RB. The rest are luxury.
