I don’t claim to know who was Bill’s pick or who was Wolf’s pick, other than what was reported by beat reporters. That’s why I refer to all picks from 2021 on as collaboration picks.
Beat reporters wrote that BB never wanted to draft Mac, eventually wanted to trade Mac entering year two, also that he wanted to sign more of his own free agents like Jakobi Meyers but got strong armed into signing Juju instead. If Bill wasn’t in charge of personnel, then it was the collaboration who decided to let linemen like Thuney and Mason go. Why wouldn’t Bill want “his” guys.
It certainly wasn’t Bill’s idea to switch to a West Coast offense in year two, he mocked the scheme as “easy to defend,” so why would he switch to it.
If the owners son was meddling it makes sense why he hired pals to coach offense instead of bringing in experienced professionals. He knew he wasn’t going to be there long.
None of this is pandering to Bill, it’s repeating facts and shared life experiences we all know happened. It’s only the haters who ignore clear evidence and facts because they’re a bunch of emotional cripples who felt lost after Tommy left.
Just say you were wrong. The delusion of the cult is freaking hilarious.
They're also so desperate for a W for their hoodied hero that they're pretending Thornton is Jerry Rice. LMAO
Wrong about what?Just say you were wrong.
No I recall saying from what I read they might see him as a special teamer if he made the roster which wasn't a guarantee. Not wrong. He is only on the active roster because of injuries. He's not a diamond in the rough nor someone who had loads of talent that NE couldn't figure out how to use.You said Thornton wouldn’t make the Chief’s roster.
You did, you said he wouldn’t make the roster and if he did he would only be a special teams player. Stop lying…. again. No I recall saying from what I read they might see him as a special teamer if he made the roster which wasn't a guarantee. Not wrong. Yet another draft L by your hoodied hero. He was quite good at taking those wasn't he.
I have receipts. You were saying? You did, you said he wouldn’t make the roster and if he did he would only be a special teams player. Stop lying…. again.
lol you can’t even comprehend your own words.I have receipts. You were saying?
Now be like your hoodied hero in the draft and take the L skippy.
lol you can’t even comprehend your own words.
They see him as a potential special teamer if he makes the team at all.
You’re special. That's right just walk away in shame and take the L. Your hoodied hero has gotten used to that in recent years after Brady left so it shouldn't be hard to do.
You’re special.
That pick alone proves to me Bill was still 100% in charge. No one else in this organization would have done that. The picture you paint of the GOAT coach being ****ed by the owner and his son into picking picks he doesn't want just so he can keep riding the gravy train is not doing your projection of the GOAT coach much good, but go ahead, keep going.
If you want to die on the "Jonathan Kraft forced Bill to take Cole Strange" hill, it's there for the taking.
According to several posters on here a player sucks as soon as he is drafted by the Pats and then sucks while here except for a few. Then when they leave they suck so much more. LMAOI doubt you guys are watching the games. Thornton has beaten his man repeatedly down the field but Mahomes has been off on a number of throws because their OL is terrible and he's running for his life. Thornton will be a solid #2 or a really good #3.
Just because he didn't do well here doesn't mean he sucks. I think a lot of you guys judgement is clouded because you want him to suck.
The Chiefs has been saying a lot of positive things about him since the off-season so this isn't a surprise.
Will you two hug it out already?
That's my take too If Mahomes can make a player out of him: more power to Thornton.Maybe his conditioning coaches are better in KC?! This guy was always injured and very fragile… So skinny… Maybe he’s put on a little muscle and has better conditioning but he was ineffective here as we all know and a lot of that was the coaching and some of the personnel… Good luck to him there,we shall see how he does rest of his career
