Oh god not the screen shot shoulda thrown to that guy thing.
If only he would pause the game 2 sec after snap then he would make better decisions. What loser doesn't know to do that? LOL all jokes by the way

Can’t have a STer being 2nd in snaps at WR.

Then surely Marcus Jones shouldn't be playing STs.

I guess the solution to satisfy your optics is for Hollins to have fewer ST reps.
======
You do understand that as Williams develops, Hollins will get fewer reps?

No the solution is that an incompetent WR who can’t get open shouldn’t be getting snaps at WR much less the second most on the team.

Jones is a defensive player who also plays special teams.

Hollins is a WR who doesn’t belong on the field on offense and if you make him active you might as well put him on a special teams unit or 2, but he doesn’t add much there either.

I am not sure you understood KCSVEN's post. He said the opposition were already playing a ton of 2 deep zone (probably copying each other), so running deep routes would not be productive.

We need guys to win underneath, other than Hopper and Hunter. Diggs wins at all levels but it looks like he is easing into playing time. Douglas has disappointed. Hollins has disappointed underneath too. It has to be Diggs or Chism with Hunter and Hooper to carve up the 2 deep zone if we are going to start throwing downfield. Also if the OL holds up longer that would help a ton.
It's this. If teams are playing 2-deep, cover 2, cover 3, Maye should be dissecting that, and receivers (especially Pop Douglas) should be open on every play. I really hope they let Diggs play more, when he's in there and not running clearouts, he's been effective.

Oh I think he cares. I don't think he's lazy or whatever. I think it's just the yips. Some people don't come back from that.

I think it's a lack of concentration. I give credit to the defender when they get a clean punch and drive the ball out, or when a guy literally rips their hands off the ball, but Rham simply got hit and the ball came out. IMO those were really lame fumbles on his part, had he been protecting the ball properly they wouldn't have happened.

This is the thing. Voice of the Jets Ian Eagle was raving about the 'great punchouts' and JJ Watt was saying literally nothing when he did, because it was clear for everyone to see, they're just soft fumbles.

I keep saying this, go back to the Miami game, you knew this was coming. He was bobbling the ball without any contact at all.

Maye is dissecting it. He is #2 in the NFL in completion %, #5 in passing yards and top 10 in almost every passing stat.

Brady super power was his accuracy Drake completion percentage is actually amongst league leaders. So his accuracy is better. But to your point the misses are egregious.
Especially after 19 seasons watching a QB with “super power” accuracy. Anyone else noticed Maye’s accuracy is worse when he’s throwing to Douglas than his other receivers? Might it be Douglas is too short and not consistently in the right place in his routes to be a reliable downfield receiver?

They need to send a message to the team by benching him for a while. I’m sure he feels like **** and knows he’s ****ing up but the team also needs to understand if you put the ball on the ground you’re on the bench, as long as your name isn’t Drake Maye that is.
I get what you are saying
I think they take reps away or he does not start
But if you bench everyone but Maye for putting the ball on the ground
Then your message is muddled and resentment could follow
You can’t put any one player above the TEAM concept they are trying to convey as the Image of the team
If Drake was not fumbling then game on

Ty Law said Maye should've thrown the ball to the corner of the end zone. CB would've been out of position to make a play. One of the radio guys fought him on it which was funny.

The receiver was wide open. You cannot blame a dl tipping the ball on the qb.
You surely can blame the QB for throwing the ball on a rope when it should have been lofted on an arc.

Just got off watching the Monday Night Football game. I have a question. Do you think the Ravens might trade us THEIR ****bum, 3 fumbles in 3 game RB, Derrick Henry for ours?

All those who simply want to excise Stevenson and right him off as a bum. What do you think a well run team with a lot of good history (not great) and considered one of the top teams is going to do with a similar situation. I bet THEIR fans aren't calling for his head. Concerned sure, but not in Patriot Panic mode like we are now.

Good teams do what they have to do to FIX things with their players' issues and fans are supposed to support those players as long as they are making good faith efforts to get things better. Instead we are like spoiled children who love our new toys until they get a dent and then want to throw it away and cry to daddy for the next shiny one.

I mean why can't WE find a fast long receiver like KC's Tyquan Thornton

Disagree on both counts Ken. Henry has 23 fumbles in 10 years, that's 2.3 a season. Rham had 7 last season2 more Sunday, he's done nothing to fix the problem. He basically cost them the game Sunday so people are pissed. I don't agree with the " cut him" crowd, but I think he should be present but not playing until Vrabel thinks he's got it through his head that his first priority is to protect the football.

Tyquan Thornton had 3 years to do something in New England, he failed in all 3. Everyone wanted him gone.

Just like Ring 6 argued me on the exact same thing.

The played called for a touch pass to the corner, not a line drive through 2 defenders. Look at the images I posted earlier in this thread. Echols was in position to intercept the ball even if it wasn't tipped.

The play and route didn’t call for it to be lofted.

Just not correct.

Don't know if this was one of those "choice" routes, but if Booty had turned to the Post and Not to the corner, the DB never would've reached the ball at all, and maybe neither does IronHead Jr...

Good points. Welker and pop are essentially the same build as far as height, weight, ect. Brady's pin point accuracy and wes abilities to always know the down and distance were just impeccable. Also had all pro production during the moss years. To have the benefits of a downfield wr is so essential in today's NFL. The offense we are running now although they are 11th in offense stands a chance to get better as the season goes along. The most important thing is we have a QB.
