Campbell let that 1 pressure happen because of his T-Rex arms. Did I do that right ?

No, you need a photo.

Pop needs to be Inactive he's a joke.
Doesn’t need to be inactive….Vrabel just needs to ask him “if he ever heard of Wally Pipp?”

Then keep him on sideline while Chism is active & on field.

I think people are being a little rough on Pop Douglas. At least on today's performance, Diggs is the slot guy.

The way you’re brushing this off shows you’re not looking for real debate. Vrabel isn’t carrying himself like a head coach—he’s out there acting like a positions coach trying to prove he still belongs. That might play well in practice, but it doesn’t translate to discipline or results on Sundays.
Your op on it didn’t come across as seeking debate it came across as seeking to put Vrabel down.

If you’re really seeking debate let’s start with your fallacious image of how a head coach should carry himself and what a real head coach should be. Is the problem that Vrabel isn’t sporting a stylish hoody with chopped sleeves and a disheveled look overall? Or do you favor the Tom Landry suit and tie with a fedora? And what does any of that have to do with being a good head coach?

What matters for a head coach is his ability to run the program and get his assistants, staff, and players all on the same page and pulling in the same direction. Listening to players comment about Vrabel it seems they are sold that he’s the head coach they want to be leading them. You’ve shown no evidence he’s not a good head coach, and so far the performance of his team is looking like he is a pretty good one.

So, if you want to debate come with some evidence, not just unfounded potshots.

That pass was a Vintage Tom Brady throw. Best throw I've seen for him. Is he the one??
I thought just a bit long. Like six inches. Rham did a great job of grabbing it but had to stretch. Thankfully not enough to affect his run after catch, but the GOAT would’ve dropped it in right on his hands not out on the fingertips. Definitely one of the best we’ve seen from Maye. He’ll show us a lot more of those before he’s done.

Its early, they're probably working on it. I think the line has to jell more so maye has more time on long passes to develop
There were two play action plays that were designed to go deep but both were long developing (the fake hand off/fake reverse and a seven step drop where Henry was stuck blocking one on one) and Maye was under immediate pressure. So 100% agree it's the offense as a whole that needs to improve to enable more deep shots.

Evan Lazar mentioned an interesting theory he has recently that Diggs wants & needs bigger receivers. He's not reliably accurate all the time so bigger guys with larger catch radiuses helps to mitigate that. Douglas is small and Maye needs to account for that which is probably hard for him. Chism is a little bigger, might help, though it's hard to bench Douglas for such a reason.

Prussian Field Mashall von Moltke said: "No plan of operations extends with any certainty beyond the first encounter with the main enemy forces"
For the middle aged, you probably remember this better when Mike Tyson paraphrased it: "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth".

Avoided pressure too on that play. Kept composure, stepped up and threw a great ball. Definitely alleviated the worries about his ability under pressure and keeping his footwork at least for now.

I wouldn't call it a great win but it may have been an important win.

It's a good sign that Maye responded the way he did today. When he sets his feet and throws with proper mechanics, his talent jump off the screen. I noticed Josh got him moving more today which I think was prudent. When he is moving to a spot he is not drifting into trouble and is very dangerous. I could envision some concepts of Kubiak's offense being a good fit for him.

That being said, defense sucked, special teams had too many mistakes, and too many penalties overall. Defense needs playmakers badly.

Conference standings (assuming the Chargers beat the Raiders, and the Bucs beat the Texans, tomorrow night):

Very good thing. Bradbury is not old yet, only 30, and centers have a bit of a longer lifespan. Would allow them to leave Wilson at LG for several years at least and keep things solidified from the center to the left.
I think the Pats will draft a center in 2026. Bradbury is good when healthy but too small to fight through injury and still be good. Injuries are normal in the NFL for 30+ year old players.

Logical. Decent centers are not hard to find in the middle rounds, especially if you can afford to give them a year to develop.
