Gonzo and out is becoming very synonymous. Really thought we were going to take some of these early games on the schedule. IF Gonzo is missing next week: we are not Beating the Steelers. Corpse Rodgers will carve that weak Secondary up.

If we lose against the Dolphins, I think it'll give us a better idea where we are in the rebuild. I think I bought into the hype that we were much further along than we are. If we lose, that doesn't tell me the rebuild isn't moving in the right direction, it just says that it's not going to be as quick as it has been for some other teams. We were one of the three worst teams last year, and arguably the worst. It might take us a while to dig out of that hole.

Teams like the Commanders and Texans the last two years gave us these lofty expectations.

They provided proof that teams can win early despite not being finished products if they’re well coached and have the right QB in place. Add in an easy schedule, and it’s the ultimate formula.

I think that’s why the expectations are here this year. I don’t think anyone has ever considered this close to a finished product.

There is no Practice Squad pllayer who wouldn't be a huge deficit at RG. And, just BTW, Lowe is an OK #4 OT.

I think we will be 0-2 after Sunday. The Dolphins are gonna come out angry, no Gonzo to cover someone fast, I just don’t see anything good happening for us Pat’s fans this season, especially with god knows how long Gonzo will be out, and how long it’ll be before the offense clicks.

Last season was a disaster for the Dolphins due to the collapse of the Offensive Line through injuries. 2025 is not starting off any better. Left Tackle Terron Armstead retired, pushing second year LT Patrick Paul into the starting lineup.

Miami was embarrassed last week in Indianapolis, and they will take it out on the Patriots. During their day off this week, the players held a Players Only meeting. This is very early for this type of meeting, and I think this is a very important early season game for the Phins. If they lose this game, this team will implode and probably get Mike McDaniels fired. Do they want to play for their coach?

Who controls the line of scrimmage will determine who wins the game. Which team can establish a run game will control the game. The Dolphins have some big home run hitters who can take it to the house at any time. Their pass rushers are very good and could give the Patriots O-line fits.

I don’t like the possibility of Zack Seiler matched up against Patriots Rookie Jared Wilson. Seiler has had back-to-back seasons of 10 sacks. Wilson had an abysmal 33.8 Pass Blocking grade from PFF. That was 70th of 78 OG in the league.

Drake Maye has to come out fast and play withing himself. I would design an easy pitch and catch so he gets his legs under him. I suspect the Dolphins will try and speed up Maye and drop back in zone coverage.

I was wondering for a second why this game would be televised in Alabama, then remembered where Tua went to school.

One of the few Pats games that @PatsWickedPissah and I can watch from home.

Andrew Catalon, Charles Davis and Jason McCourty will be the announcers.
