I believe McDermott was Allen's coach in his rookie year. That helped his development a lot.

Mayo was Maye's coach. That uh...didn't.

YOU were the one who wrote, more than once, "...by the end of his 2nd year..." people were considering him a Bust.

All I did was remind you that "by the end of his 2nd year" Josh Allen was in THE ****ING PLAYOFFS.

The Bust label had been ditched Months before "the end of his 2nd year." So stop ****ing using it.

This is not true at all.

Josh had under 3100 yds his second season, 59% completion and 20 tds to 9 picks and 7 fumbles.
He also lost 2 of the last 3 full games he played in his second season.
His pass totals in those last 3 full games:
146 yds
139 yds
208 yds

The bust label was far from "ditched" by the end of his second season.

I'm not sure where you are getting your info from, but I know firsthand from many many fans that the bust label was still very much in play.

I have no dog in this fight, but you are wrong in this case.

It’s okay to just say you were wrong.

Josh Allen was called a bust after year two… own it.

By the end of year 2, Josh Allen was in the POs.
But they were also in the playoffs the year before he got there with Tyrod Taylor leading them. The core of the team that went to the AFCCG was already in Buffalo when Allen took them to the playoffs. Dion Dawkins, Phillips, Milano, Trey White, Hyde, Ed Oliver, Dawson Knox, Edmunds, Taron Johnson, Ford.

Bills fans probably don't want to hear this, but the team is due for a rebuild at this point. They are thin all over the place on defense.

The offense is more than fine.

Josh Allen is holding that team together with rubber bands at this point.

Yes, the best player in the NFL continues to hold his team together with whatever.

No, I wasn't the one who was corrected. I never said JJ was a rookie. Hahahah. Go back and read the thread. Reading is fundamental. I said he was injured and didn't play a snap. I said he is a statistical rookie - he has never thrown a pass in a game until last week. Go read it. So what is your deal? Lol.
yeah I see that now. I replied to another poster about JJM not being a rookie, and you jumped on me for saying that, and I thought you were the original poster. So whatever, peace.

Thanks for the information.

I am a bit confused. Kyle Williams had a better game than Boutte? Can someone help me understand what I’m looking at? (Honest question. I’m confused)

I’m not a PFF whiz but it could be relate to him catching the only pass thrown to him. Batting 1000 LOL. And he was really good at Pass Blocking.

You should be. PFF grades are a joke, and yet get regurgitated over and over as if they're gospel.
