RE: Quick Reminder on the Thread Ignore

I would like to suggest a feature where we can see how many people have blocked or muted a particular poster. Ideally, it would be public, but even if only visible to the subject poster, it would give him/her visibility to how they're perceived by the community.
The old Reputation score did that. I had no problem with it but some posters did I guess

I'm in. Screw this polite air of camaraderie BS, I'm always up for a good ol' public shaming. A Scarlett 'B' followed by a number perhaps? Maybe a tar bucket with the number printed on it and a few loose feathers to add an artistic touch?

We can see where you're going with this...

Save your money, far and away away it's me. Those rat bahstids @Steve102 and @Ross12 are a distant 2nd & 3rd respectively
I told @Ian it's okay to tell everyone I pay him a monthly surcharge to keep from being banned. Just so long as @Clonamery @RobertWeathers and fnord have to pay at least half what I do you won't catch me *****in' about it

Maybe it is time for a BB Forum like we had a TB12 Forum. Too many people are obsessed with Bunny. The "Bill versus TCU Game Thread" and "The Bill Megathread" get more posts than the Raiders @ Patriots - Early Thoughts thread. The complulsive posters (who are always the first to claim they are not compulsive) can not help themselves. We can hit the thread ignore button, but why not create a BB Forum like @Ian did for TB12? The TB12 Forum worked out well and the 2025 season is starting so let's put all of the BB threads in its own forum. This is the 2nd year without Bill, time to move on, it is time for a BB Forum.

Those are the threads I just made disappear, talk about an echo chamber of bad takes.

My Dude, try to keep up. The numbers belong to @Ian
He can do with them as he pleases
I am always trying to keep up. With you and @Steve102, I fall behind. Some people are limited, I am one of those limited people. Hopefully I will learn to keep up in the future. Who knows what the future holds.

Quick Reminder. I integrated this front-and-center to make it easy for a one-click to hide any threads you don't wish to see/participate in:

Hit this, and it immediately drops off:

You can toggle access to anything whenever you need to either in the left sidebar (desktop):

Or within the slide-out menu (desktop & mobile):

That will open up the list of any threads you're ignoring, and you can just uncheck them to take them off ignore.

Jesus Ian. You really need to dumb this down. I ain’t no coding expert.

LOL, sorry, I just re-read it and you're right, I didn't exactly explain it all that well.

Here's a little clearer explanation:

Next to every thread is this button. It only takes one click to put the thread on ignore and as soon as you hit it, the thread immediately fades out and is gone from view:

If you do that in error, or if you just want to see what threads you have on ignore, there are two ways to access them. You can click this button in the left floating sidebar, which should be viewable in desktop:

Or if that sidebar isn't appearing, you can click this one within the slide-out menu (desktop & mobile) that opens when you click the button on the top left of the main site navigational bar. Click on the "Forums" menu, and it's located in the group of icons at the bottom:

When you click that, it will open up the menu on the right showing the list of any threads you're ignoring. From there, you can just uncheck them to take them off ignore, and they'll reappear when you refresh the page.

I already addressed it. Those will be moving to the College Sports Forum for this season. I'm not doing a Belichick forum. At least not at this time. But for those who want to follow him, that will be where we'll do that, and it will also allow people who might want to follow the college season to also talk about other games/opponents, etc., there as well.

Should we move "The Bill Megathread" there?

Look at you in God mode and ****

I keep trying to bribe @Ian to give me the list of most ignored members, but so far no joy.

I mean, a man has to have goals, right?
There should be a coding parameter like if you're ignored by 10+ users, you can't start certain threads, like GDT.
