Best Buy offering me Suday Ticket via YouTube for $258 1st year
Confused so explain to this geezer like I'm an average 7 yr old
Considering this for my FL winter season
1.Do I need a YouTube TV $ subscription as well OR just access my free YouTube account via internet?
I live in NH and have a cottage on the Cape where Condo ASSociation has only streaming available, no local broadcast TV signal too week for antenna
I also have a winter home south of Tamper FL with local TV and of course internet
2. If I buy this can I watch Pats down the Cape or are LOCAL NFL games blocked?
3. If I buy this via my Florida Best Buy store can I get Pats down the Cape or will they know I'm really a NH guy from my credit card and block me if answer to #2 is blocked?

According to the Google:

NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube Primetime Channels brings you Sunday afternoon regular season NFL games not carried on local broadcasts in your area without buying a YouTube TV Base Plan subscription.

I don't subscribe to YouTube and I buy just the Sunday ticket package. Unfortunately it does not include the local broadcast. I'm still one of those suckers still clinging to cable so that's not a problem for me.

You do not need a YouTube tv subscription and you can watch every Sunday game (1 and 4 o’clock) everywhere except the ones that are on in your local market.

Your issue may be nit getting the patriots in the Cape because it will be the local broadcast.
I would think you can buy an indoor antenna that would be powerful enough to get the game.

I’m pretty sure it’s physical location that determines which games are blacked out but not 100% sure

Sadly I checked Cape signal strength & indoor antenna won't work

I just signed on for the NFL ticket for $280 plus tax.

No Youtube subscription needed for your first season of the NFL Ticket. All you need the App and a free account.

You cant beat fiber optic.

What part of the Cape are you on?
You might need to put an antenna in the attic?
I like the flexibility of this product since I can sign in from a buddy's place across town if I don't want to host here.

Trying to tip-toe around the rules in regards to talking about streaming - you can access any game on regular old YouTube TV any time by simply spoofing your location to one of the markets that it's being broadcast in. I've done it for at least 2 full seasons now, being a Pennsylvania resident and spoofing my geolocation to somewhere in NE to get Pats games instead of Eagles or Steelers.

@Ian Let me know if this breaches the rules and I'll delete. It's not illegal (as far as I know).

You can get just YouTube TV (or any other streaming TV service that provides local channels) without the Sunday Ticket. YouTube TV will give you the Pats games on local TV. Get a router with a VPN for Florida and trick YouTube TV into thinking you are still in Cape Cod. It will be cheaper in the long run.

I live in NC. I would do it that way except I want Sunday Ticket for all the other games.

But if you buy Sunday Ticket alone, it will give you Patriots games in Florida, but not in Cape Cod. YouTube will check your IP address to see where you are located. It will block local games based on that. So you won’t get Dolphins games in FL.

You’re not a sucker for keeping cable imo. It would be great if you could get all channels a la carte but I know that’ll never happen. Having to pay for 4 streaming services is a bit much…

Nothing illegal about using a vpn. You’re promoting security actuallly! . I’m interested in what @Ian has to say about this tho….

Problem is I still need multiple streams too and then I just watch 30 second highlights and tiktoks like a real boob.

Not even using a VPN, just a free Chrome extension. No extra cost.
