Patriots Injury News Polk out for the season

At this point I will be surprised if this guy ends his NFL career with more than 500 receiving yards. Another complete swing and miss.

This probably will end his tenure with the team

Maybe this is best case scenario for us. Cutting him would create a Dead Cap of $4,516,232 and cost us an additional $2,312,881 in salary. And Maybe this gives him a year to grow up and get his body and head right.

Hard to come back from this kind of start but provided surgery and rehab goes well this gives us one more chance to get it right with him.

I guess I don't really care. I don't bear the kid any ill will, but he's clearly not able to help the team now. Best to move on and see what happens with the rest. See you next year, kid.

Yup. Nothing against him but it was clear as day to me watching him run the ball that he simply isn’t an NFL athlete. He can’t run, he has no suddenness or elusiveness. I can’t imagine he’s still in the league in 3 years

Honestly this is somewhat of a blessing in disguise. He wasn’t going to make the cut this year but he may have a shot next year, with both Diggs and Hollins getting another year older into their 30s.

considering his contract, best case scenario... in the tiny tiny chance he can ever turn it around they get to keep him for 1 more year. Considering his contract that is a good thing as he was already paid for for this year... cutting him gains you nothing but a roster spot. So this is ideal. Get the spot, get to keep him 1 more year. Maybe trade him after if he shows something or who knows.. keep him if he somehow doesn't suck.

damn, where are we going to find a player that's going to be able to fill those 12 catches a year shoes?

We are completely cursed when it comes to drafting WRs except for UDFA/late rounders (Givens, Edelman, and Efton) or FA/trades (Moss, Amendola, etc..). The only good WR we have drafted in rounds 1-3 the last 30 years was Branch, right? Malcolm Mitchell could have been good too if not for injury.

Williams better watch out!!!

I know Rong 6 is surprised.

well, thats one way to keep 7 wrs...

That trade down form Ladd looks worse everyday.
What can we do to purge the team of missing on receivers in the draft.
Can someone go tell Giselle we are sorry for whatever we did so she can remove this curse.
