No More "Wind" Games in Buffalo

Can't wait till there's a stadium built somewhere which at the push of a button shifts panels around like a retractable roof to add wind to the opponent side of the field. Lol

No more three pass game for Mac Jones.

Isn’t it going to be a domed stadium or is it a retractable roof?

Gonna laugh if it doesn't work or makes it worse..
Sounds like they scienced it out lol.

I bet it works but I wonder if it could create something weird for kicks and even moreso punts when they get close to the top of the stadium on a windy day.

Interesting.

As the guy explained as long as the wind is coming from the SW and there aren't any upper winds pushing the prevailing winds at a steeper angle than the openings at the top of the bowl, the design makes total sense.

Punts go about 50ft in the air so might be interesting to see if those are impacted.

They accused the Giants of doing that in the old Giants Stadium. Not a retractable roof, obviously, but they were accused of opening/closing doors at the end of the field level tunnels based on which direction the home team was moving.

Belichick's genius at work

Of course, the wind that time of year comes as often from the northwest or straight south from the north.

I know because I bike around the area and am always checking for wind direction.

So this will work 50% of the time

1 billion percent will happen at some point.
