QB Sanders not attending the draft

His interviews must have been terrible.

Have to wonder if he could go undrafted.
It's a real question now just because teams that needed QB's got them and, aside from the Steelers, you are basically drafting him to be a back up now and not a starter so the whole media circus surrounding him is now a bigger problem. Also teams like the Steelers passed on him twice. The Raiders, who were a potential landing spot, passed on him 5 times. The Browns who are stuck with Watson but might want to look to the future passed on him 4 times and got Dillon Gabriel. That's very concerning if you are in his camp.

Dart you can kinda talk yourself into being better. But a clear message was sent with the Saints getting Shough, the Seahawks getting Milroe, the Browns getting Gabriel, and the Raiders a few picks later passing on him in back to back late third comp picks.

If he gets drafted at this point, it's late and the message is "you are expendable, we could easily cut you without losing sleep, keep your dad and entire crew away, you are just another low guy on the totem pole and you better work your ass off and not be a problem".

He has talent. That is undeniable. Some team will take him today.
I guess you’re likely right. But it’s still a risk. Can you imagine bringing in this type of circus to be a backup QB ? If the interviews were so bad that needy teams took the likes of D Gabriel ahead of him…. Seems extreme (and telling).

No question there is a major concern he'll be disruptive and won't take to coaching.

For him to be selected, it needs to be by a team with a strong coach and ensconced QB.

Philly, KC, Cinci, etc.

Breer just said that apparently nobody he talked to had him as a first round QB and he had an interview where teams were going through scenarios with him about how he would face this situation and he said "maybe this place isn't the fit for me".

Watching the talking heads at the NFL Network dance around the issue of why he wasn’t drafted yet was a sight to see. Not one of them was willing to talk about Shadeur’s arrogance, or teams not wanting to deal with Dionne. ( Sanders, not Warwick)

And speaking of the talking heads, once again they did an absolutely ****ty job of covering Day 2. They spent all their time on feel good stories, and talking about things like Shadeur, and almost no time following it pick by pick, or covering the trades until a half hour after they were made. I’m sure today will be even worse.

Question is whether it will get through or they will find way to deflect/project blame on something/someone else....which is mroe likely?
I read there’s reports for bad interviews. “Don’t pick me” type stuff.

I tend to agree. "In my day..." it seemed draft coverage was a lot more balanced.

My bet is the league asked ESPN and other outlets they have a relationship with to tone down the negative press. Not 100% sure.

Clearly that hasn't stopped teams from doing their due diligence and taking players off their boards or dropping their stock.

The may be the Browns as the GM used the fit words when asked about him.

This is clearly the NFL sending Deion and his kid a message. Probably not a good idea to have giant dollar signs hanging up in your draft party. These kids were rich their whole lives and now they had their own money. Nothing left to work for.

He does have talent, and is clearly better than some of the third rd QB picked last night.

I just don't see how any team would pick him now since he will have to sit on the bench but will ***** and whine the whole time and be a total pain and then his dad will make a lot of noise about how he should start, etc. Maybe Dallas would be crazy enough to pick him since they like the fanfare and the limelight; Joe Milton III would love that But it would be so entertaining--non stop soap opera.

BTW, how is he going to pay for all that jewelry? I do hope that the amount of jewelry a player is wearing goes into draft evaluations...

Anyone think there would be a chance to draft him for a 5th and then trade him next year.......we do need a 3rd stringer

Ha NEVER! If the Patriots got rid of Milton for a bag of balls because he was a locker room distraction, can you imagine what a pain in the ass Sanders would be? No way. Let Dallas draft him.

Put money he playing in the CFL this year...lol!

No way he winds up here. 0.0000000000% chance.

When does Deon go off on the NFL?

They are making a fool out of him and exposing Prime as the BS Artist that he is. All that hype taking over Colorado like he was going win the National Championship because he said so.

Prime Time
13 - 12 coaching record to date
1 win and 7 losses vs ranked opponents. Beat TCU first game 2 years ago.
Lost his only Bowl game by 22 points. Remember the Alamo Bowl.

I suppose Prime has to walk a fine line because you know that ***hole wants to be an NFL HC.

I mean even Trump himself was firing off tweets about Shadeur Sanders. Total circus surrounding the kid.

I really hope that Dallas drafts him. If this happens, can the Patriots get Milton back (and give him a fair shot this time)? Ha, what a circus.

What team in their right mind would want Sanders and all his baggage now? Some poorly run team with a meddling owner I suppose.
