Personally, if I was in any of their shoes I would not go.

At a moment like that I would much prefer to be at home with my family and closest friends.

On top of that I would be expected to give Roger Goodell a big hug. Talk about unwanted touching.

Deion Sanders is a lot of things and most of them are indeed distasteful. But one of the things he has mastered is self promotion, the man could teach the Kardashians a thing or two about it. That's why I believe his boy not being at the draft is an indication of anything other than his daddy deciding that being seen as less than a winner is a look they don't want. Even Deion couldn't spin the narrative once the cameras sent out shots of his ass sitting in the green room while any name other than his got called.

You nailed it. Once he saw Shadeur not going 2nd overall, there was no benefit to him being there. He's not going to let him get the Sad Rodgers treatment.
