Beginning of the end for Miami.
McDaniel has been exposed. You beat me too it regarding the beginning of the end of the Dolphins. Ramsey is becoming a journeyman and getting passed around the league. McDaniel is putting his job on the line dismantling the team.
Pats will beat them with or without Tua at least once this year and pass them in the standings. Unless the Dolphins have an outstanding draft, they are done. That roster is awful and they've spent so much money with nothing to show for it.
Overall, I think he's a good HC. But like Shanahan, they run out plays once their initial attack is stopped or given resistance by opponents. McDaniel has also ignored the ground game where Shanahan finally had to trade for an elite talent in McCaffrey. He's also got a QB who's one hit away from his career ending. And the defense isn't very good. Now he's getting rid of key pieces on defense. With that said, I think this is McDaniel's last year in Miami.McDaniel has been exposed.

He should retire as he was awful with the Jets. Had an awesome career though. I want the Pats to land a LT like him.Tyron Smith is retiring, so that last resort LT option for the Patriots is off the table.
Tyron Smith will retire as a member of the Cowboys
While I don't disagree with your sentiment, that is a lot of money in the defensive backfieldPats should at least explore Jalen Ramsey, IMO. He's played in the slot and some safety from what I've read. MJones has bene good but he's small and consistently banged up. Carlton Davis is oft-injured on the outside and our outside CB depth isn't anything special. We still have a short and long term need for better FS play if his career ends up there as well in his 30s.
I don't think I could justify paying 25 million for a safety...who's never played safety in the NFL. He's not better than either of the 2 starting CBs, and I don't think he's as good as Jones in the slot.Pats should at least explore Jalen Ramsey, IMO.
