When put in a position to play to his strengths he was very good. Unfortunately, too often he was asked to do stuff he's not built for.

Vrabel said it would look drastically different when he was introduced. I don't see more than a handful of untouchable guys on the roster from 2024.

OFC they aren't but as an add on as part of a deal involving 6th or 7th round picks it might be helpful since the Pats cost to see him go either way is the same

Only about $3.5M in dead money (and $1.9M in cap space gained) this year if he's a June 1st designation cut.

Or, if they can manage to trade him, it's only $4.3M in dead money and $1.1M in cap space gained. Changes if done post-June 1st also.
