The boundless optimism of some fans never ceases to amaze me.
And the boundless negativity of some fans never ceases to amaze me.

Robinson is a physically dominant run blocker at RG, who'd repeatedly not see an untouched pass rusher while doubling somebody else. Sow started his entire rookie season and was pretty good by all accounts, then mysteriously regressed last year. Both were 4th rounders, with significant experience and good athleticism - Sow had a very high RAS score in particular. Those profiles both sound like coaching opportunities this year.

They're on the roster and I suspect MV is glad about that. Either could be our starter at LG assuming Strange completes his move to C. If Strange stays at LG and we bring in a new center, then Sow-Robinson are our depth pieces at G.

We have 2 inhouse candidates in Sow and Robinson, both of whom have flashed talent and could be coached up.
I’m not sure what “flash talent” actually means but both have been very bad Gs who probably don’t belong in the league and certainly shouldn’t be relied upon to start.
Flotsam and jetsam are camp bodies, not answers.

Ryland was in his second year so patience was required. Ryland had a much better leg in college. In a situation like that, the younger player with more raw ability usually sticks, but it was an anti-BB thing like has been noted. Not hindsight - posters noted the mistake when it happened.
And then Slye sucked

That is fair. It also depends on the Pats' assessment of Robinson, Sow, J Andrews, and possibly Wallace if the Pats draft a RT like Trapillo. At least we have possibilities at LG, even if unproven.

Who do we have as a possibility at FS? EDGE? LT? WR1?
Well first we have more than enough resources to address all. We don’t have to accept crappy G play to get a WR, we can afford both.
As is, a healthy Duggar and peppers as the safeties in a traditional nickel base with 3 corners and 2 safeties is better than what we have at G, Landry, White, Jennings as edge are better than what we have at G.
Lowe is better than what we have at G, but a weakness at LT is much more debilitating. Why would signing a G prevent us from addressing WR, of any of those spots?

Yeah. Remember when they traded a second for Sanu. That was a bad deal too. Clearly something to be upset about today.
Bog difference between a second and a fourth
Not comparable
There have been plenty if opportunities to acquire a 1 WR on the cheap
Not upset jus stating fact

And some Patsfans say the Younger and Bigger Tee Higgins ain't worth it.

No one said that. Literally. No. One. Told you not to get attached to him, didn't I? Bengals love to have stud WRs and a **** team around them.

fake news

all that matters is the money

our posters have said so for years

It might have been the structure and the amount of guaranteed money...

Do the owners think the Pats have enough resources? You think the Pats have enough resources, but the Kraft's have never approached FA with that type of attitude. If true that would be great. I seriouly doubt it based on the Kraft's historical performance, but I hope I am proven wrong.
