Already working on take 3.0 lolIt's happening. First mock to have Membou to the Pats
He's projected to go late 2nd/early 3rd and probably best suited as a guard.I suppose the one thing that might prevent them taking Membou would be if they really like Trapilo and the Marrone, Bill O'Brien connection.
He's 6'8". That's a very tall guard. I'm not suggesting he's better than Membou but they'll know Trapilo and could maybe decide they can get a different position at 4 and get Trapilo later. I'm not saying they should, it was just something that occurred to me.He's projected to go late 2nd/early 3rd and probably best suited as a guard.
Speaking of tall guards. We should look at this guy that just got released....He's 6'8". That's a very tall guard. So yeah being 1st in these categories isnt exactly a selling point lol but perhaps he just needs better coaching?Speaking of tall guards. We should look at this guy that just got released....
To keep it draft related lol he was a target of mine the year he got selected to help protect Brady in Tampa.
I do think we’re out of the Hunter/Carter stakes. It only takes one, but Shedeur is not getting good feedback as a top 3 pick right now.
if that were the case short term that's one thing, but long term? Then I'm out at 4. They need to be an every down player. One thought on Mason Graham's value. If we were to draft him at 4, he could very well be a situational player. He could be sharing the position with Milton Williams, Christian Barmore and Keion White. Obviously a lot of moving parts there but if everything goes right, committing to a rotational player at 4 is not an optimal use of that pick.
I'm not out on Graham but I am going to bump full time starters over him like Membou and even Campbell (LG). Having said that, that would change if we got bad news on Barmore or didn't sign Williams. Graham would probably go back to my no 1 option in that instance.if that were the case short term that's one thing, but long term? Then I'm out at 4. They need to be an every down player.

I think you'll find in Vrabel's system, those two things could well be synonymous. That's my concern with Graham. He's a proven interior pass rusher, but that's it. He needs to be a 3 down player.
With Williams, Barmore, and White wouldn't we prefer an anchor like Kenneth Grant than a penetrator like Graham? One thought on Mason Graham's value. Grant is a rare athlete for the position but I'm not convinced by taking a first round DT if we sign Williams and Barmore gets the green light. I'd be thinking more along the lines of an Alfred Collins, CJ West, Jordan Phillips or Jamaree Caldwell. Would Grant be getting enough snaps to justify the first round pick? With Williams, Barmore, and White wouldn't we prefer an anchor like Kenneth Grant than a penetrator like Graham?
