If anyone should be hemmed up for tanking it’s actually Buffalo. They punted from our 35 in a one score game. That’s fn tanking and they lost. How to you go after a team for tanking that won the game and lost the first overall pick? If this is what this is about F Mayo. An unmitigated disaster from start to finish. The first presser was all you needed to see to know we were screwed.

Sneaky good point here that has me remembering an uneasiness I felt listening to Mayo’s first few interviews.

Just seemed…not right.

But I couldn’t pinpoint it.

I read 7 pages and all I see is a bunch of fan/aggregator accounts saying that other people are saying that something is up, but no one will say they personally talked to a legit source or even what it’s about - just that they are hearing that other people are hearing that something is up.

This is absolutely a total nothing burger. Call me when someone with an ounce of credibility reports something and when they actually say what they’re even trying to claim happened.

An investigation (if there is one) would never get resolved before the 2025 draft. If it ever came to losing picks, it would be 2026 or 2027 picks. I think this is all ********. I think Savage has a bad record as far as being news worthy. More clickbait than real news.

KC, Cleveland & Buffalo were all clearly tanking in Week 18. If the NFL starts taking away picks for every team that was tanking in Week 18, half the league would be impacted.

You would have to ask why though ? Why would they wanna attack one of the worst teams in football ? How does it benefit to attack the Pats ? Unless their goal is to get the Krafts out. Always have been a Kraft believer. If whatever this is costs us the #4 pick, I swear this team better be sold to somebody that is cognitively with it.

They aren’t losing a pick in this years draft. It took the league 4 years to take a pick from Miami even though the coach alleged they tried to tank the whole season, not just week 18. And the lost draft pick was for tampering with Brady, not tanking.

The Pats almost certainly aren’t losing a draft pick for winning a football game, no matter what the idiot coach claims the owner did.

Let me get this straight, so Mayo was told to lose, he said no ****ing way, going for the win. So Mayo’s strategy for the win was to start Drake Maye FOR ONE SERIES, bring in my rookie 6th round pick who’s never thrown an NFL pass, and he knew this was gonna win the game for him. Gimme a friggen break. If anything, Mayo should be investigated for trying for the loss, it just backfired on him.
