Ben Johnson seems to be dilly dallying. If that's the case get done with Vrabel, hire him and strat assembling staff , rebuild the front office, increase operations staff, get the ball rolling on draft criteria and the model and use the model on past players to see how the hit rate is.

Identify free agents who need to be spoken to.

Its been reported Johnson is interviewing w/ CHI and us during the bye week.

Did Ben Jonson push his interviews back I saw?
I did not see that anywhere. The Lions told Johnson and Glenn that they can do interviews Thursday Friday or Saturday. So he can't push them back very much even if he did.

If brunell comes with johnson, do not want johnson.
Brunell is a dbag
Who cares if he is a D Bag. He was underrated as a player. He knows the QB position. He is yet another offensive mind that can help mold and develop our rookie QB.

Maye is NOT tom brady. Maye needs weapons and elite coaches to succeed. How hard is that to understand?

PLEASE get away from the BB coaching tree and start over. The old patriot way is GONE.

Hire Johnson and Brunell to take Maye and our offense from the dumpster to a world class unit.

If pats whiff on vrabel and johnson, i would be fine with Flores as backup plan
I was intriqued by Flores
But after reading about players on Dolphins that said he broke Tua
By the end of the year they did nit even know who he was anymore
That he was on a power trip
Brings major doubt to me

Trying to decipher your post, but it seems that is entirely NOT what I am saying.

Judging a coach entails evaluating how the coach has performed relative to the team's talent. And with today's rules, this almost completely revolves around the QB. I know. I know. It takes a little thinking.

As an example, McDermott has under performed. The Bills should have at least made a Super Bowl, and would have done so at least once, if he wasn't a meh coach. That's the credit or blame that falls on a coach for what they do. Daboll has no chance making chicken out of chicken salad in that mess, but has done so 33% of the time. If you don't see that, that's fine. It doesn't appear from your posts that you are able.
I don’t think it makes sense discussing this with you any further.

You appear to think it’s madden and the check just shows up and calls okays or something.

Coaching is building a team, a culture, developing players and systems and making decisions.
Coach A builds a winner going to the playoffs 7 of 8 years and winning his division 5 years running, and you think he sucks.
Coach B runs a franchise into the ground and digresses each year to 3-14 and you think he’s great because ROsTErZzzzz

All I know is they need to take the Johnson meeting. My guess? They would be blown away by his presentation. I am not even sure Vrabel is better than Johnson for this current Patriots team. Let Vrabel go rot in Vegas if he wants to.

I think some here forget how uber competitive Brady is. He will fight tooth and nail to not let Vrabel leave their building. I'm sorry guys but I don't think Vrabel will be our HC. It's between Johnson and Flores.

Thats for some reason doesn't bother me at all. Vrabel isn't in the division, and I am leaning towards Johnson anyways. I want an offensive minded guru HC to work with Maye. I want that relationship for years to come.

And I think Johnson would be a terrific HC. Modern, smart, and from what I tell runs a tight ship offensively. You don't see any Detroit offensive players taking a play off do you? I don't.

I think coaches can evolve and improve.
He is cash money for D
Tough as nails

I'm leaning toward Flores now only because of experience. I feel the Patriots need experience more then the offensive potential Johnson brings.

I don't want a defensive head coach if it's not Vrabel. Not really feeling it.

What if Flores hires Pep Hamilton for OC. He's had a lot of OC experience and was Andrew Luck's OC.

Right. McDermott has built a losing culture, despite having one of the best teams in football for a long time.

You saw it last week. McDermott deliberately lost that game going into the playoffs.

His childish methods, poor game decisions, and flat out not being prepared for big situations reflects the Bills failure. They have Josh Allen and one losing AFC Championship game to show for it, where they had the lead with like 16 seconds left, and the coach handed away the game.

You win with Josh Allen if you are a Daboll/McDermott level coach. That's a given, and that's why the Giants kept Daboll.

The Bills with all the hype won't make the Super Bowl this year. I doubt they make the AFC Championship game. There's really one reason.

As for Madden, you are the only one quoting number/stats.

NFL offenses have changed in the past 13 years though right? I dunno, I do tend to like the offensive head coach who can keep up with league tendencies and be a stable fixture.
