We need an experienced HC, who has systems in place and (most importantly) high-value asst. coaches attached.
1. Vrabel would be fine - could have a "2nd chance" leap like BB did after Browns. Great leader, motivator.
2. I'd even take Gruden - he has the most to prove, and could probably hype this team (and Maye) to 10 wins next year.
3. dark horse in Arthur Smith - a UNC guy, broad experience (coached Def, OL, TE; 3 yrs OC & 3 yrs HC exp)

Just a feeling man. I get your point, they are all valid. I just feel that he’s gonna want a roster that’s a lot closer to winning than this one.

If I were Johnson, I’d hold off until the season is over as it’s a major distraction to players.

If you hold off until the season is over, you often lose the chance to get the job because the team (potentially) hiring you doesn't want to wait up to 5 weeks.
