Content Post Does anyone think there is a chance Mayo is one and done?

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Do you think 5 or 6 gets us Tetora McMillan??
Figuring top 3 of Sanders, Ward, Hunter 5/6 nets us either Tet Carter or Banks.

So many needs. Best plan is to just lose next week giving us options to trade down and accumulate picks.

Drafting Number Two IF Our GM don't SCREW UP again should net us Four to Five Good Players next year at the very least.

I can't see the Krafts sitting through another Miserable Season in those Owners Boxes. Even if we spend in FA this Team can't overcome Mayo he's not Head Coach material. Drake Maye can't overcome Mayo.

“Just to speak for myself, I’ve seen a lot of stuff out there. It feels like a lot of guys start giving up when things get hard,” defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale told me after Saturday’s 40-7 loss.“

If Vrabel is, indeed, interested in returning to New England, the Krafts ought to bring him home. Say what you will about Vrabel’s Titans – a hard-nosed, boring bunch often hamstrung by bad quarterbacks – they never quit. They didn’t break fundamentally.

Instead, they knocked out the dynasty-era Pats in January 2020, Tom Brady’s last game as a Patriot, and made the AFC Championship Game that same year. Two seasons after that, they clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and Vrabel was named Coach of the Year. During his Tennessee tenure, Vrabel was widely regarded as a top-10 NFL coach and compiled a winning record.

Vrabel and Josh would be a huge improvement, but we need someone who can shop for the groceries too, If I remember correctly Vrabel had a guy he wanted and Tenn said no, I'm willing to give that a go, can't be worse.

Mayo at his opening press conference states that he was selected to be "a black head coach." Which was one of the more weird statements I've ever heard by a new hire. In the same statement he went on about how he was going to build a team on DEI and he would fight racism. All of which was pretty strange to hear by a coach at his introduction

1. Kraft had said from the get go, he wanted Mayo and knew it from their conversations they had in Germany a few seasons ago.

2. It's already been reported that the coaching staff is not Mayo's coaches he picked.

3rd. You had a white coach last year with the same record, and the year before wasn't much better ontop of the fact continue to draft horribly. If we are judging off "merit. Than he stayed way longer then he should of....right?

Plus Mayo all year has continued to walk back multiple talking points he has made interviews

This is how I know Callahan never watched the Titans. Also beating the 2019 Pats was not some big feat.

We drafted #3 last year and came away with 1 good player (who, if isn't ruined, will be a Franchise QB). If this front office stays, we're screwed.

This isn't all on Mayo, the players aren't that good, this goes back to BB's bad drafting and Wolf. Have to start from scratch.

When/if the team is 1-5 next year, Mayo will be fired anyway. Everyone knows it. Why not just cut the cord now and get everything in order. The coaching staff is going to ruin the QB.
Six games into the next season is not the time to start over.

It isn’t just that Mayo should be fired, he should never have been hired in the first place.

Start the recovery now!
