Who is missing besides Bentley, and I guess Uche if you want to count him?
Everyone reporting he’s going to comeback but making sure to add the “if things don’t go off the rail” caveat is interesting.
Between that and the Tankathon, it’s as if they want their own fans to root against them.
You're still rooting for the Patriots, but you have a wider, longer view. That's my perspective too. I've become convinced it will take 1-2 more seasons of disastrous drafting and coaching to rid us of Wolf and Mayo. AVP is the fall guy, and appropriately, the most competent coach on staff. The Patriots have had dysfunctional ownership in the past but it has never been this bad. After the past 6 years, I'd like to see new ownership. Sure, things could get worse, but new owners would have to work hard to achieve that.I am...

They are both equally unlikely to happen, and for the same reason: Bob Kraft's enormous, monumental, gargantuan ego.New ownership is a pipe dream. A more realistic hope is that Bob will relinquish control of the franchise to Jonathan.
Why do we want to keep a GM who has a bad track record, and hand him a top 3 pick in each round to see if he doesn’t blow the picks? It all sounds OK, but why not make the switch now? There are lots of GM guys and Wolf completely failed last season. I don't want Wolf spending $140M. His contracts last year were awful. So we roll the cap dollars over to 2026? It never ends. Let's get a professional GM now.
Or just because it's delusional and entitled to think he would or should. He bought it, the team is his. He's had it for 30 something years and the value has increased and they became one of the most historically successful franchises ever while he was owner. They are both equally unlikely to happen, and for the same reason: Bob Kraft's enormous, monumental, gargantuan ego.
I'm not a Bob guy but do we know Jonathan will be any better. They are both equally unlikely to happen, and for the same reason: Bob Kraft's enormous, monumental, gargantuan ego.
I was arguing to dump the GM. You might reread my post. Why do we want to keep a GM who has a bad track record, and hand him a top 3 pick in each round to see if he doesn’t blow the picks?
Why give him that valuable an asset to evaluate his performance on?
Curran and Breer have walked the hot seat talk all the way back. I think it’s over

I’m not aware of anything that distinguishes him from Bob other than name, age and a rumor that he did not want Mayo (which I do not believe).I'm not a Bob guy but do we know Jonathan will be any better.
How many years of poor ownership do we have to endure before fans are entitled to speak out? I see you feel entitled to tell everyone when we are allowed to speak up. Are you also going to dictate which aspects of his ownership can be questioned? You’re setting the bar, right?Or just because it's delusional and entitled to think he would or should. He bought it, the team is his. He's had it for 30 something years and the value has increased and they became one of the most historically successful franchises ever while he was owner.
When other fans complain and talk about spoiled and entitled Patriots fans not understanding reality in the NFL, it's **** like this where fans are mad about a bad stretch and demanding that an owner who saw the team go to 1/3rd of the Super Bowls under his tenure should sell the franchise immediately. It's so stupid. There's reasons to rag on Kraft, but this is such a ridiculous take.
There were plenty of calls to fire Belichick the summer of ‘01.For those who remember, how was fan reception of Belichick throughout and after his first season? What felt different between him and Mayo? Just wondering as someone who wasn't really engaged much then.
Not as bad as this but close. For those who remember, how was fan reception of Belichick throughout and after his first season? What felt different between him and Mayo? Just wondering as someone who wasn't really engaged much then.
