The Case Against Eliot Wolf

“Eliot was charged with providing player recommendations and influencing his final decisions on free agency and the draft.”

*IF* Wolf had *any* input with the 2022 draft he should be arrested for arson instead of being fired (no pun intended) for the conflagration that is our current roster.

Not only did we trade back in the 1st round exchanging a first team All Pro cornerback (McDuffie) for a “JAG” left guard - a *Strange* (pun intended) move to say the least. We then outdid ourselves by also trading UP (let that sink in for just a moment) during the 2nd round so we could “outsmart” other teams who were ready to “pounce” on our next Stanley Morgan, the estimable Ty Thornton. This krafty (sp?) move left George Pickens for the Steelers two picks later. I’m pretty sure the Steelers were going to be all over T.T. with this selection but had to “settle” for Pickens.

It gets even better when you realize that both these trades were made with the Chiefs (yes, the same team that picked up our former “One Catch Wonder” on waivers and currently have him stashed on their taxi squad on a pancakes and ribeye steaks diet So yes, If Wolf was indeed an influence in that 2022 draft along with being the “mastermind “ behind the more recent unforgivable draft day transaction, (the much discussed 2nd round trade back that blessed us with Mssrs Polk and Baker rather than drafting a potential future All-Pro receiver, Ladd McConkey), I would have to agree with a favorite quote, “Take me home momma and put me to bed. I have seen enough to know I have seen too much.” With so much at stake, with “cash to burn” along with another high draft pick, I’d strongly prefer another “de facto” GM being the “decider”….

This team front office is a joke.
Kraft needs to really open up the check book and also go big. I’m tired of the micky mouse moves that never amount to sh*t!

Thank goodness that football players don’t usually (if evah) undergo Tommy John surgery otherwise we’d have a roster full of such signings like another local team we know!

FIRE Wolf immediately. He’s the worst wide receiver talent evaluator in NFL history

And another reason the children MUST ****ING GO: Not maximizing the Judon trade.
Almost as bad as trading Chandler Jones for a bag of marbles because he smoked a little weed! He went on to lead the NFL in sacks the following 2 years.

It is ok to look for diamonds in the rough when there is no cap space and the team is drafting at the end of every round. RKK needs to channel 2003 John Henry to turn this team around quickly.

Is this a joke? There would have been no one left on the team if BB purged everyone that smoked weed. AH is proof of that. Chandler Jones was traded because BB didn't believe in paying top dollar for pass rushing specialists. Not only do these players command salaries that rival QBs, sacks were not a focus of the BB defensive philosophy.

I think if you are showing up at the local police station, scantily clad, acting a little crazy, I'm thinking it might be more than a little weed.

Agreed, I don't know anything about the synthetic weed, so I might be underestimating the seriousness of the situation. It could be that the incident scared the team away from committing the big bucks.

The return for Jones was awful only getting a 2nd round pick in return. At worst, Arizona should've thrown in a 4th for taking back mega bust Jonathan Cooper. He ended up going to a team that allowed him to pin his ears back and rush upfield. I don't think he would've led the league in sacks had he stayed in NE because Bill doesn't like DE's/Edge players rushing upfield passed the QB, which leaves a gap for the QB to take off running.

The common complaint for Jones was that he disappeared come November, but the scheme had a lot to do with that (see above). The fact he was able to get 12 sacks in 2015 shows how good of a player he was.

It was pretty shocking news...I wanna say it was a Saturday morning, but I could be wrong.

Synthetic weed started out pretty goddamn weird and strong, more than typical weed. "Weed" even then was a bit of a misnomer.

By the time Chandler Jones was smoking it, it had undergone interation after iteration, as one version would get banned, so they'd add an extra oxygen molecule or something similar to duck the ban.

It became much stronger and barely compares to weed at that point.

Shocking for sure. By all accounts Jones was not aggressive and clearly looking for help. There was plenty of conjecture that the Pats would move on before it happened. If the incident impacted his future with the Patriots it was from RKK, not BB.

Is it normal weed that has been modified, or a different substance all together? I thought it was like bath salts.

All you folks are saying is that you would be making the same mistake as Wolfe, reaching to find a WR or OT instead of drafting the best player available.

When we picked, the value was at DT and CB. EIGHT were taken in the next 10 picks (in addition to McConkey and Polk).
The value isn’t in quantity it’s in quality.
The best player is the value, the number of players at his position is irrelevant

How fkn BAD are Polk and Baker?
We have #StoneHands and #DUMBASS
Fkn Wolfie the idiot thought he was smarter than the everyone in the group, and got his little labia slapped.
McKonkey was the play, everyone on the PLANET knew it.

Bah, that little Twat bothers me.

"You want speed, you gotta draft speed"... after the fkn Thornton draft.
Everyone blames Bill, that CLOWN was deeply involved in at least the last few drafts, yet Bill gets blamed for everything.
Maye was a fkn LAYUP.

Y'all SAW Bill ASKING Those fkn mental deficients if they agreed on Mac Jones, he was probably hoping they said "I'm not sure Bill"
Yet the "Collaboration said "Yes".
We saw it, that crap wasn't just Bill.
Wolfie is a fkn CLOWN, just cuz he told a cool story before the Pack drafted Jennings does NOT mean he knows what he is doing.

"We'll have a good OL"
Chunks was a RT that got benched the year b4 in Pitt because of attitude...Wolfie said he could handle LT....
WALLACE was a RT in College..."He can handle LT"
"LOWE is solid, we're very happy with our OL..."

DUDE IS A FKN ******, he doesn't know Jack ****!
