Now, their legacy will be tied to him, with the hopes that he can solidify a position that has been in flux since Tom Brady moved on following the 2019 season.​

The performance of Drake Maye is indeed obviously going to be the biggest measuring stick when fans and the media debate/grade Wolf and his staff. But there will be a couple lesser pairs of players whose productivity will intrinsically be tied to this group as well.

- OL Caedan Wallace and Layden Robinson.
I list these two next because of the pre-draft discussion of the importance of a LT, the surprise drafting of a guard, and the Pats inability to trade up when there was a run on tackles.

- WR Ja'Lynn Polk and Javon Baker.
Wide Receiver was the third glaring area of need. If both perform well over the next few years then Maye is probably playing well too, and Wolf is getting accolades. If not, then Felger, Mazz and the chronic complainers will have a sickening amount of material to work with.
