Mayo interview with Curran

The Commanders have a much easier schedule this year. These are their wins.

2-10 Giants
4-8 Bengals
6-6 Cardinals
3-9 Panthers
4-8 Bears
2-10 Giants
3-9 Titans

The Patriots would have more wins if they also had the Giants twice, the Banthers and Cardinals and Bears on their schedule. We also did beat the Bengals. We lost to the Titans which is the only common game they did better.

According to Sharpe 2024 NFL Strength Of Schedule, Teams Ranked for Regular Season

We currently have the Hardest strength of schedule in the NFL this year. The Commanders have the 12th easiest.

That's a big part of it. Wolf is a massive problem though. The Patriots have a huge issue with getting talent on offense and now that he has control, the longer Wolf goes without solving that issue, the more he's going to look complicit in the mistakes of the last regime. Polk is a big ****ing miss either way you cut it.
We had the hardest strength of schedule before the season started. Now that the season has started we have one of the easiest SOS in the league. Bottom 5 I think.

We are fools to not even interview Harbaugh, Chargers are playing a great game with a Tom of injuries that would have Mayo waiving the white flag.

That list I posted with us having the hardest SOS was updated on Dec 2nd. I can look for another one to see if there are variances.

Weird. You can go to tankathon and see our SOS right there.

Honestly idk what to believe. I usually find Sharpe trustworthy. But I don't doubt you either.
FWIW the tankathon SOS also matches up with Ian’s draft tracker which puts us at the 4th easiest schedule. It might just be the way it’s worded. The Sharpes is definitely correct for before the season started. The article might’ve been updated (wording changed) on Dec. 2nd but not the actual information contained. Our SOS is so easy that if NYG and LV both win a game and we lose out, we will have the #1 overall pick because the tiebreaker is easiest SOS and we have the easiest of the teams at the top at .461.

* I worded this weird. Sorry man. I’m going to bed.

It's all good man, I believe you.

I saw that because I looked. On your list the Jets are 4th easiest and we are the hardest. Tough to understand since the Jets and Pats have nearly the same schedule.

@lancerman , I don't know if this helps, but this has the opponent totals for not only the Patriots, but the entire league (there's a page for all 32 teams):

Also - the variance on the OPP on this vs the draft order is that the division opponents are only counted once here, vs on the draft order where they're counted twice (which is how TankAthon does it). But I did it differently for this because it represents what I've seen elsewhere with that metric.
