Fwiw Mayo harps extensively about it being a larger than life priority for him. It's not what we want to talk about on a football forum but, well, the HC openly says it's a priority on how he runs the team. It's a catch 22 for forum rules.
When the coach has explicitly stated that their political priorities influence their management of the team, then discussing the team's performance or decisions inevitably touches on those political factors.
This creates a paradox: members are expected to avoid discussing politics while also trying to analyze or critique decisions that are explicitly political.
TLDR: sucks to be a mod these days.
