I’m okay with him calling out the players. They need to be. But he also should take a brunt of the responsibility.Really, really bad look.

True, but if Kraft wasn't around I'm sure Bill would right the ship. Obviously, he's not coming back and it was a joke, right?Bill came into a situation that was much better than what Fairbanks an Parcells had to build from.
nah. that just an excuse. what throw can't he make? We’re just limited with what we can dial up with a qb making his second start.
will tryWe aren’t making the playoffs anyways, let’s just somewhat enjoy Maye progressing this year and build with our prime draft selection.
My point is that we were pretty happy with the choice and expected him to be the answer at QB based on those two games.
Just...want to temper the joy a bit. Not kill the joy though.
I did too… and there’s are good reasons why he’s still available.I hear Bill Belichick is still available
got itTrue, but if Kraft wasn't around I'm sure Bill would right the ship. Obviously, he's not coming back and it was a joke, right?
The Pats need what RK doesn't want to do - find someone with a superb vision of a football team as a complete system and give them total control, a la Fairbanks and Parcells.

He looks clueless and lostHe'll hop on WEEI and hint how it's not his fault it's the roster Bill left.
He does plenty of talking during the week but none during the game, just stands there looking like he's clueless.

This roster has gotten worse this year . There is not even a slight improvement so what has Mayo done? It's very well to blame Bill but the new guy should have made even a little improvement but made none . Why did he not address the O-line ? Not only is a terrible coach, he can't hold Bill's jock strap. And the last 2 plus years, I believe RK is responsible for this mess as it was clear that he forced Bill to draft players he did not want. They could have gotten a proper GM and let Bill coach but because of our egotistical owner that did not happen. Letting Bill go was a huge mistake and no one can convince me otherwise !!!Those that wanted Bill gone wasn’t because of his coaching ability, it’s because the team has the worst roster in the league. Many of us have said for years the drafting had been bad but we’re drowned out by Bill sycophants who thought the roster was fine. It’s not fine and hasn’t been fine for over 1/2 a decade.
The o-line has been a mess - got rid of Thuney and Mason. Wasted 1st rounders on Wynn and Strange. A complete **** show. Our skill position players have been the worst in the league since Gronk left. Pro Bowlers and All Pros no where to be found.
I’m not sold on Mayo. I thought they should have opened up the search, but Mayo did inherit the worst roster in the league. Also not sold on Wolf, he was part of BB’s team who built this pile of ****. But to act like we should have kept Bill is ********. This dog **** roster has his finger prints all over it.
One thing I saw from Polk last night is that he adjusted well and made a nice catch, but after a nifty move to break away from his guy, he had a clear path to the end zone with at least 3 yards separation from the help defender chasing him down.
He didn't make it to the end zone. That doesn't speak well to his speed at all. I was shocked he was hauled down.
J. Polk from Washington. He just plays weak out there and doesn't seem to show much effort going for balls. I question everything about him, including his hands. On a team with 3 receivers, someone was going to be open.
And it should happen directly after this season. Get a Real GM and let that GM get a HC and coaching staff. But, I seriously doubt that RK will do that. He won't admit he made a mistake this soon, nor pay for the GM and coaching staff. He did a decent job and his highlight was stifling the red hot 2019 Ravens who looked like they couldn't be stopped. That was a great game plan. Brian Flores also had a great game plan making Jackson look like a back up QB a few years ago.
When Mayo is canned, Bob really has to clean house and leave no ties to BB even though Vrabel didn't coach under him. They need a hard reset.
He was also a lousy head coach over the last 2 seasons. Those that wanted Bill gone wasn’t because of his coaching ability,
At some point it becomes his team, his players and his screwups. At some point you have to stop blaming the predecessor. This roster has gotten worse this year . There is not even a slight improvement so what has Mayo done? It's very well to blame Bill but the new guy should have made even a little improvement but made none . Why did he not address the O-line ? Not only is a terrible coach, he can't hold Bill's jock strap. And i used to think they had a life size cardboard cut out of caldwell standing on the sidelines, thats how quiet he wasMayo is quieter on the sidelines than Jim Caldwell.
There's no doubt his drafts were atrocious and was a major reason the roster is what it is. However, because of what he's done overall and the lack of alternatives, I didn't think Bob would've been dumb enough to pull the trigger. Those that wanted Bill gone wasn’t because of his coaching ability, it’s because the team has the worst roster in the league. Many of us have said for years the drafting had been bad but we’re drowned out by Bill sycophants who thought the roster was fine. It’s not fine and hasn’t been fine for over 1/2 a decade.
Bill didn't get rid of Thuney, but he did wait until the 11th hour to make a push to retain him which Thuney declined. Although Mason's contract wasn't bad, it was bizarre. Wynn and Strange were also head scratching picks. The o-line has been a mess - got rid of Thuney and Mason. Wasted 1st rounders on Wynn and Strange. A complete **** show. Our skill position players have been the worst in the league since Gronk left. Pro Bowlers and All Pros no where to be found.
They couldn't open up the search because Mayo was the successor to Bill. It was obvious when Mayo quickly ran back home after being offered an interview with Carolina.I’m not sold on Mayo. I thought they should have opened up the search, but Mayo did inherit the worst roster in the league. Also not sold on Wolf, he was part of BB’s team who built this pile of ****. They should have added talent all over with all the money they had, but it should be clear to everyone right now that having a real QB makes the OL look 10x better in pass protecting. This roster has gotten worse this year . There is not even a slight improvement so what has Mayo done? It's very well to blame Bill but the new guy should have made even a little improvement but made none .
