Vrabel doesn’t win without a talented roster he proved that in Tennessee. Why on earth would he be better here with this untalented roster.

If we still want a defensive coach Rex Ryan is available. Lol
BB didn't win without a talented roster, either. Get hired, turn things around. It's what good coaches do.

i am not sure what mayo thinks his job was . Have a great team and let them play and just be incharge of timeouts and 4th downs ? Its his job to get them ready during the week. His pressers give the impression otherwise

look at the Vikings. Offensive head coach. Hard nosed dc. They’ll be undefeated after this week.

Chiefs, undefeated with an offensive coach and a hard DC who is known for physical defense.

That’s what we need.

Demoralizing loss

Every week seems worst then the week before

We have so many holes that also with an eventual first overall pick looks only a very very small part of the big picture

Eh, I bought into the Maye hype. Should have known better. Thought he would have provided a spark to the team, and for a series and a half, it looked that way... but that spark was snuffed out by ****ty play and the rest of the litany of things that have gone wrong all year...

after the first quarter Jacksonville figured out what we were doing and adjusted to stop it... its the failure of our coaching staff that we do not do this, or we do not do this well enough... Am I wrong? Am I the only one who thinks we go into a game with a plan, and stick to the plan, no matter what? Say what you want about the talent, but they are talented enough to catch passes, to score td's... we've seen it... not its up to the coaching staff to put it together...

in 1994 we played the Minnesota Vikings,,, the Vikings put us in the woodshed in the first half... Parcells made a pivot, and Bledsoe threw for like 70 passes in the game... adjust to the situation, no matter how unbalanced it is... that's a key element, being able to make decisions based on the current situation...

we should have done that today... if the reason for the lack of adjustments is the pass pro, so ****ing what... the OL coach needs to grab a few facemasks and let those guys know - tough ****, its on you to do it... so do it... they won't get better unless they practice... and since there are no pads in practice anymore, then **** it... practice in games til they get it right...
Well. its no secret AVP has no answer and mayo calls him the HC of the offense so he likely has nothing to offer either

The Pats need what RK doesn't want to do - find someone with a superb vision of a football team as a complete system and give them total control, a la Fairbanks and Parcells.
I hear Bill Belichick is still available

Mayo's just there to credit-surf or, if there's no credit to be had, to blame shift.

He won’t launch Mayo or Wolf after 1 year. He cannot admit he screwed up that bad and fix it that fast.

I don’t see it happening either this year. But hopefully after next if we don’t see things turn around. Guess theres a chance the guy could grow but not holding my breath.

He did a decent job and his highlight was stifling the red hot 2019 Ravens who looked like they couldn't be stopped. That was a great game plan. Brian Flores also had a great game plan making Jackson look like a back up QB a few years ago.

When Mayo is canned, Bob really has to clean house and leave no ties to BB even though Vrabel didn't coach under him. They need a hard reset.

i want to see if the local media - tom curran phil perry mike reiss etc all out mayo's comments or will they just say "he is being honest, they are soft"

This is getting more frustrating every week. Mayo is NOT the guy to lead this team !! The only bright spots are Maye, HH, Slye and maybe Marcus Jones. Even Rham has regressed. Our O Line and DL are a mess. Where and how does one start to re-build this team ?
I hope that all the people that wanted Bill gone are happy with the results. It is a case of 'be careful what you wish for'
Robert Kraft is a terrible owner, from being one of the best he has become one of the worse. He only cares about his ego, his ego could not stand to see Bill get credit for the last 20 years so he fires him and hires someone who is completely out of his league and incompetent. We have hit rock bottom , I have invested 30 years in this team, I can't give up now. I just pray that someone comes along that can save the Patriots. It is NOT RK or Mayo or even Jonathan.
Those that wanted Bill gone wasn’t because of his coaching ability, it’s because the team has the worst roster in the league. Many of us have said for years the drafting had been bad but we’re drowned out by Bill sycophants who thought the roster was fine. It’s not fine and hasn’t been fine for over 1/2 a decade.

The o-line has been a mess - got rid of Thuney and Mason. Wasted 1st rounders on Wynn and Strange. A complete **** show. Our skill position players have been the worst in the league since Gronk left. Pro Bowlers and All Pros no where to be found.

I’m not sold on Mayo. I thought they should have opened up the search, but Mayo did inherit the worst roster in the league. Also not sold on Wolf, he was part of BB’s team who built this pile of ****. But to act like we should have kept Bill is ********. This dog **** roster has his finger prints all over it.

We’re just limited with what we can dial up with a qb making his second start.

We aren’t making the playoffs anyways, let’s just somewhat enjoy Maye progressing this year and build with our prime draft selection.

Thing is did anyone see any improvement from last week? I saw plenty and thats what we are looking for. Progress week to week.

And screw the Houston coaches. Might put that as my sig now.
Yes the improvement was that they started faster but once the opening script was done AVP happened.

I was impressed with the first drive because they had different play calls and designs. Then the rest of the game it was the same as we saw all year. It was like they spent all week scripting up the first 15 plays, and when they ran out, they didn’t know what else to do, so they went back to the prior 6 games. Very disappointing to see this.
