The best thing about Maye today (and one of the posts above says it) is he shook off his or the team's mistakes and just moved on to the next play. No bad body language, chirping at teammates or his coaches, etc. Like how his first int was a doozy of a bad throw but he moved on from it.

I like that a lot.

Drake Maye made my day. He balled like a top 3 rookie QB in the draft playing his first ever game. It will be nice to see how he and Daniels compare the rest of the way.

Maye was about what I expected him to be. I was concerned maybe the were rushing him in there before he is ready. I think they did, but he isn't not ready enough that I think it will hurt him by playing. He clearly has things to work on, but he has a lot of raw talent that could turn him into a top 10 or even top 5 QB. But expected that he would be a lot better than Brissett and make some very promising plays and make a lot mistakes. That is exactly when he was.

This was the worst game Gonzalez has had as a pro. But if I remember correctly, Diggs always gave Gilmore fits.

They gotta stop shuffling the o-line. I get making changes for injuries. But if you are putting in a new five starters every week, you are never going to ever have any continuity.

I think Polk has the yips. A knock on him in college was he would lose focus which would cause problems. He needs to get his head back on straight.
