There are two things I hope we’ve learned from this game:

1) No more drafting of wide receivers in the Second Round. Got to be a “jinx” or curse on us that is payback got getting Gronk….

2) Not interested in how much our Coach and GM are impressed with our O-Line. Guess when the last time I’ve seen a Pats line this bad - Yup, Since1960!

Plus: Maye looked better than expected, future looks bright

Minus: Defense **** the bed, Polk forgot how to catch, even more OL injuries (Lowe and Jordan leave the game), play calling still sucks
Agree! and I'm sure @Ian would agree on lowe.. he's does more disappearing acts than whoodini. F.. this OL..

Meh.. we are depleted and devoid of talent on defense I'm not really as bothered becuase I expect them to struggle without Barmore, peppers or Bentley.. those are huge losses. Gonzo looked tired to me..
All true. But we overpaid for Duggar who missed an eminently make able tackle, which sealed the loss. A team captain. You’re going too easy on Duggar.

Buckley asked Maye about texts/calls from family etc and how to balance the joy of his first start vs the blow out loss.

Maye responded most of his family etc text/talk about the loss and not the best plays. All they care about is him and his team winning. That is the exact mentality that winners have.

I was thinking 1974. I can't remember an o-line this bad, actually don't think the 1974 line was this bad

First it's Dugger, not the child molester guy whose name is spelled Dugger.

Kyle made so many key tackles all game, he was really all over the field until this play

Maye 20/33 61% for 243 Yds, 7.4 Avg, 88.3 Rating, 3TD, 2 INT Vs 5-1 Houston with 5 rushes for 38 yds (7.6 per)
Rattler: 22/40 55% for 243 yds, 6.1 Avg 60.7 Rating 1TD/2INT vs 4-2 Bucs with 4 rushes for 27 yds(6.8 avg)
This is the comparison I wanted to see. Looks as though pick 150 is almost as good as pick 3.

EDIT. Olave is out with a concussion.

Javon Baker infamously made that statement after being drafted about making people in wheelchairs stand up.
I'm aware, I never said Polk said it.
I was saying put the punk in, people want to stand up!
Sorry for the confusion.

This play? It was the key play of the game. Game is gone with his missed tackle. How much is he being paid? It ain’t for missing tackles. GD.

Can we wait 10 years before we make this comp? I know you're all in on Rattler but pump the brakes.
