Heehee. You are indeed on the ball.

Rephrasing : it’s stunning that a team with a legitimate shot at 3-2 can be this putrid. I marvel at the fact they even won once.

The Pats beat another team that is 1-4. How cares? We can beat the worst teams in the NFL so we are nearly 3-2?

We really should have kicked once Henry got that false start. Slye showed he can make long field goals.
This. With a FG and a kickoff, Miami would be at the their own 25; virtually the same position and time as they ended up in after the failed 4th down attempt. So, it the same situation, just down 3 points vs 6.

Does this mean you called yourself delusional?

Anyone who thinks the results will be any better is delusional AND Maye is better than Brissett.
They would have won today if Maye could have played a B- game.

Well we are doing something right.

I fear that NE will be the exception this season. Blowouts are on the horizon, I’m afraid.
This one would have been against an average team.

Honestly, the only game I see them possibly winning is against the Jaguars because they’re complete ass as well
At least Jax closed the deal today

With this loss, the mocks have us picking first!

Travis Hunter or OL???
Shedeur Sanders, to compete with Jacoby and Mayo on the bench.

Having 80 million to spend is meaningless if no good players will sign because roster is horrible.
BB caused the death spiral
Wolf has made it worse

Mayo is not to blame but was not the right pick for coach

There were a lot of defensive FAs that would have signed here so we could concentrate on offense in the drafts. Sam, you have an issue.

They had 80 million to address issues across the team, Wolf failed. He failed so bad they’re scared to play Maye.

But you’re right, Bill is gone, left a bad roster behind, but nothing was done but bring the exact roster back.
Enough with this. They gave offers to players for more money than other teams and they got turned down. You don't massively overpay, thats just bad business so you are left with this. So, whom would you have massively overpaid for or held hostage until they signed a contract? They've had one free agency, one draft. Oh and all those LT or offensive lineman that are FA? Huh everyone else in the league with crap lines isn't signing them either.

You don't wave a magic wand and fix your team overnight. Might work in the NBA or MLB, but it doesn't in the NFL.

Yes Maye is better than Brissett.
They will still be 1-16 with Maye starting, just more points

Can we acknowledge Bill needed to go without it being an endorsement of whoever the replacement was.
The main positive about moving on from Bill was modernizing the operation and starting a new era, instead we just gave the GM job to a guy in the building and a head coaching job to someone who's never been anywhere but New England.

We essentially kept all the negative issues that has plagued this team and just changed the face of it.

Deja vu. Hie many years are we going to be “embracing” losing to get high picks?

Hopefully this is the last year.
