If the Pats pull this one off, that would mean 1-1 in the division and 2-1 vs conference. Could be worse.

Pats beat Skylar Thompson last time, not sure what his status would be for next weekend. I guess our first win over Tua will have to wait and probably for a while. Thought this was a great game for Maye to be named starter but that will probably have to wait too.

Mostert who has had the Pats number lately is banged up and questionable for tonight. Guessing that status won't change for next week either.

I think id even rather play against Thompson than huntley. Last i saw huntley he was pretty decent as a backup with Baltimore. But either way this is one you gotta win if you want to be able to build anything on this season. Nervous about our defense though which is now missing barmore, bentley, AND dugger. Thats not easy to overcome even against the bad teams.

I expect Hill - Waddle and Jonnu to have Big days on dump offs also can't see Mike McDaniel losing to Mayo.

We score probably 10 points and lose

Here’s the Pats annual weather-key player missing game to steal a win.

But if they lose…wow!

Revenge game for Jacoby. I think we get a W. 2-3 looks a lot better than 1-4.

Have to see what Miami looks like tonight. They will have a short week, plus travel so it's a good spot for the pats.

Mayo already confirmed that Jacoby is the starter now and moving forward. My 1-16 season prediction still lookin' good.

Bait and switch Two Times Mayo don't believe it.

I am going throw up in my mouth after I say it but losing David Andrews for anytime is the worse thing for this Offense.

And wasn’t it leveret the dude who couldn’t shotgun snap in preseason or was that another C? If so, if Maye plays it’ll prob be from the gun…not good.

Patriots open as 1 point home dogs. O/U is an anemic 36.5.

On the bright side, long range forecast shows a magnificent fall day in Foxborough.

Probably better of having Marcus on hill and gonzo on Waddle.. I don't trust J..Jones at this point and I like him.

If they feel good about JB going forward, they are blinding themselves by fear.
The only reason you stick to JB most of the year is because you're afraid to hurt (physically or mentally) your #3 pick.
That is based on fear and past and/or uncorrelated data.
Just because you're immobile, indecisive, and untalented current passer can't avoid sacks, holds the football too long, and doesn't see most of the field - does NOT mean your very talented (albeit raw) young QB couldn't improve the OL play by 50%, and thereby the passing threat of the offense - which changes games.
The fact that they didn't get Maye more snaps in the last 5 min of the 4th (at minimum) was insane.
JB struggled to get off the ground on several more plays on Sun, and the probability Maye will play snaps due to injury is growing by the week. Get him more comfortable sooner!
I'm already starting to think this coaching staff is dumber than we think.

I originally thought this would be the day Maye would start but I have already resigned myself to the fact that it's not happening. With how many injuries they are now dealing with on the OL, I get it. Rough situation for a rookie learning the game.

Even with Jacoby it is a winnable game. Hopefully they can scoot through with the ground game and then get some better OL health for the next week. The Houston game will be a loss in all likelihood regardless. The Jacksonville game is, hopefully, winnable in London with a healthier OL and some other guys possibly back. If that's all correct, you're looking at being 3-4, while being 3-2 in the conference and 1-1 in the division.

Then it's back for a home game against the Jets. I think this might be a new sensible target game for Drake if the OL is healthier. It's an opponent he has seen on film already and it's at home. After that, the next 6 games are not too rough - at Tennessee, at Chicago, home vs LA Rams, at Miami, home vs Indianapolis, BYE, at Arizona - before finishing the final 3 tougher games at Buffalo, home vs LA Chargers, and home vs Buffalo.
